The biggest downside of tumblr is that its actually so easy to isolate into sub-communities that you end up dodging all the completely cracked artists with usernames like k_u239283295982320 with 7 followers that sites like twitter will just randomly toss on a fyp and you have to grab them right then or they'll be lost forever like a missed quicktime event in a fishing minigame
