So I am looking for advice from people who have experiences of dealing with abusive teachers... I have a teacher who is emotionally and psychologically abusive. I have spoken to him, contacted the chair and the dean about him but nothing is being done with them generally making me out to be too sensitive. 

However, today I was doing research for a bias, diversity, and ethics assignment and was making reference to institutionalized racism in police agencies and found my teacher was named as an alleged perpetrator in a human rights violation trial. The case was dismissed but his actions were not discounted. They involved bullying an officer he was training using psychological and emotional manipulation in addition to using racist pejoratives. 

So I guess my question is what do I do? The system protected him before, is it even worth fighting any more? Like the school has to know, right?

I have a term paper that is going to be due in one of my courses. It is a silly little one credit course that is basically pass/fail. My teacher said that the term paper was going to be easy, nothing too stressing. He released the rubric today and these are the questions we have to answer:

What do you value in life?

What is your professional purpose in life?

What do you want to contribute to this world?

What do you want to accomplish in life?

What legacy do you envision for yourself?

Uh... I wasn’t expecting existential dread on top of the shit show that was this semester...
