Have you ever tried not being a victim of your own history? Have you ever stopped being an accountant tallying the benefits of your present against the losses of your past?

How about dealing in singularity? No. I am not talking about monogamy. I am talking about not being an idiotic crass discourteous mind unable to turn lovers into some kind of algorithmic comparative. I’m talking about not comparing the woman or man in front of you with the people you leave behind.

You know you’ve done it. You meet a man and you make presumptions based on an ex boyfriend. You don’t give a thought to realizing that this individual is not your ex. He is a microcosm of his own. But you don’t want to learn this new universe. Or you meet a woman and you idiotically decide the qualities you should have in her instead of letting her make that choice. You kill her individuality to mold and coerce into the cookie cutter template of the woman you were with and are not now.

Why do you want to think and perceive and behave with someone based on a mistake you made with someone else? Why are you so sure that history is repeating itself? Why are you a murderer of individualism? Think about it. And then, stop doing it.
