I’m pretty sure, at least insofar as I’ve been able to interpret things in the whole “general fandom consensus” manner of speaking, the commonly-accepted sexuality headcanons for the various Senshi run as follows…
Sailor Moon: No real answer here but Pansexual - simply loves too much to limit herself to any particular category of sexual or gender identity. Hasn’t actually had sex with anyone but Mamoru yet, but if for whatever reason one of her friends asked her for such intimacy, she’d accept happily, seeing it as just another expression of love between them and herself.
Tuxedo Mask: Hetero-flexible - strongly prefers women, Usagi specifically, but has had male encounters and a boy-crush or two in the past, and isn’t particularly adverse to the possibility that it could happen again (especially considering his recurring theme of being captured and/or brainwashed by their enemies). Secretly thinks it was kinda hot that one time Zoicite wore a Sailor Moon disguise (secretly, because Usagi would probably be pissed if she found out he’d fantasized about one of their enemies)…
Mercury: Hetero-in-theory (“in theory” as she’s still shyly virgin), but her intellectual tilt makes her a bit bi-curious if only for the sake of experimentation. Likely to identify as bisexual later on once she comes to terms with her self-image. Secretly has a huge multiple-category porn collection hidden on her MercuryComputer, and is quietly terrified that someone might find out somehow, even though she’s the only Senshi capable of using the device. Prolific erotic-fanfiction writer under numerous aliases, crafting fantastically-written smut, often adapting the adventures of herself and the other Senshi and giving them lewd twists - is utterly unaware Minako is one of her biggest fans, just as Minako has no idea Ami is really her favorite pornfic author.
Mars: Bisexual, but leaning mostly towards women. Unquestionably a “domme” type (one of her manga lines is “I’ll punish you in high heels!”, ‘nuff said.) Her passionate nature and belief in the power of womanhood led her inevitably towards the discovery of Western-style feminism, and she is now highly supportive of multiple pro-woman/pro-LGBT political causes, partly in defiance of her father’s own traditionally-Japanese heavy-conservative political standing. Ironically for being the Senshi of Fire, her favorite kink is ice-play.
Jupiter: Trans lesbian, formerly thought herself hetero-leaning-bi until that fateful night she split from “her sempai”, due to some trans-phobic/trans-misogynist commentary from him when she came out. The whole “he reminds me of my sempai” thing is sort of a psychological coping-mechanism to gradually ease the pain of such early heartbreak - it will eventually become something of an in-joke between herself and the other girls. Has big “I want to love and protect you” crush on Ami, but doesn’t want to spook the shy girl, so Mako is willing to wait until she’s more comfortable with her sexual identity before saying it. Has confided to the Inner Senshi about her trans status, and is well-supported, with Ami being an invaluable ally not just in helping her keep track of her hormonal intake regimen, but in helping Mako to get top surgery (Mako insisted in “big ones”, to distance herself from her past male self as much as she could), by using the MercuryComputer to fiddle a bit with Ami’s mother’s patient records so Mako would be listed as having gotten the necessary legal permissions required for a girl her age to undergo cosmetic procedures. Bottom surgery’s a bit harder to sneak around, though, so Mako’s waiting a bit until she can get that legitimately, if she decides to get it at all.
Venus: Her sexual tastes are borderlining hedonistic. Would be willing to try anything once, twice if it’s fun, three times if she can get away with it without the others finding out. Yet she is also exceptionally careful, always making sure there are groundrules, safewords, and protection ready before anything happens - having fun doesn’t mean total recklessness. Frightfully creative when it comes to experimenting with costumes or things like new knot-styles for bondage-games.
ChibiMoon & Saturn: Too young for anything sexual, but both have a mutually-shared “schoolgirl crush” on the other, that will develop into stronger romance as they grow up. Both still have faint and fleeting memories of their time in adult bodies as Black Lady and Mistress Nine respectively - these may lead to awkward lewd dreams in years to come.
Uranus & Neptune: Obviously both “gold-star lesbian”, and quite monogamous, though Michiru isn’t above teasing Haruka by pretending to show interest now and then in whatever attractive celebrity is big that week, just to get the tall blonde’s fire up - more fun in bed when she’s trying to “prove” she’s better for Michiru than they could ever be. Rumors of them having had a “Gargantuan Amount of Sex World Tour” exist; these rumors are suspected to have begun as a joke by Minako, but the two older Senshi refuse to acknowledge the rumors either to confirm or deny.
Pluto: Comfortably asexual - her place as Guardian of Time ensures duty must come before personal affections, but, being ace means this doesn’t bother her. However, she’s not aromantic, and being able to see anywhere and anywhen has allowed her to harbor a few brief crushes on occasion.
Basing all this on hearing many many headcanons over the years on countless fansites and noting how many of them seemed to mesh pretty firmly together and/or overlap…
Would you folks consider me to be reasonable in my ideas here, or what?
