The Fairy and the Leprechaun.
The Fairy and the Leprechaun,
It was a cold and frosty morning,
And neither one was warm.
They were going to have a duel,
To see who's magic was the best,
And the Fairy says to him,
" Go first, yes be my guest ".
The Leprechaun was confident,
That he'd win this little duel,
And so sure that he'd make,
He spun round on his brogues,
In his pants of emerald green,
And made a cloud of smoke,
To create a foggy screen.
And when the cloud had cleared,
He sat on a crock of gold,
Then he waited on the Fairy;
So the Fairy told the Leprechaun,
" Please sir, be a sport,
And let me tie this blindfold on,
As through my magic tricks I sort ".
The Leprechaun was waiting,
With the blindfold o'er his eyes,
Till the stars shone in the skies,
And when he took his blindfold off,
He sat on a rock so cold,
And missing from beneath his arse,
Was he's shining crock of gold.
Then he heard the Fairy laughing,
And it filled him with disgust,
For if you cannot trust a Fairy,
Then who else can you trust.
He made his way back home,
With vengeance in his head,
And there he found his crock of gold,
