One Step Begins The Journey

The hardest part of the journey is the first step. Many times we get STUCK in the anxiety of what will be. moving forward demands that you begin with 1 STEP! Without the first step, you’ll never make the second. You must make the intentional decision to no longer allow fear, apprehension and the concern of others to hinder you from forward movement and progression. We have a horrible tendency to rehearse the possibility of what could be, yet we refuse to move forward. Yes, there will be obstacles, lows, and highs, but I promise the journey is worth it! 

Today, you must choose to MOVE FORWARD! Even though you’re afraid, DO IT AFRAID! You will never know what’s on the others side until you take the leap of faith. I challenge you to change your perspective to a lens of adventure. The adventure of becoming your authentic self.

Hatred from being misunderstood and the subsequent desire to not be understood (by those who are too bitter carrying wounds that have become septic) fuels race wars, class wars and individual wars that have spanned the course of time. At some point, we must desire to have a true understanding of why we do what we do. What is the root cause of your love, jealousy, envy, hatred and even rage. Without this understanding you will never have resolve to the things that plague your inner most being. I mean, the torment must get tiresome. By the way, I don’t know of anyone who enjoys being tormented.

Here’s my takeaway from Magneto in X-MEN: The Last Stand…….It is only when we become as those we hate or encounter their way of life in a very personal way that we begin to understand the extent of the detriment and utter desolation we have caused. If this is you, whether it’s racist views that you’ve adopted, bitterness and anger because of past hurts and trauma or even your anger because you don’t understand others choices of life, please seek professional help. The betterment of this world is left in our hands. Yes, those who are Christians believe that God is for us. TRUE, but it is our responsibility to cause the visible change as HE creates change within us.
