summary: for this req ; saiki's house is your safe haven!
saiki and you have basically been living together since grade school. not literally, but once on a blue moon would you actually go to your house after school.
you'd eat dinner with the saiki family, watch saiki's tv show premieres with him, do homework on his desk...
every day after school, you'd skip alongside saiki towards his house with no protest from the psychic.
your insistence on staying with him until dusk also is also what ropes you into all the shenanigans saiki is thrusted into by his friends.
ramen? arcades? trip to a "secret headquarters" to combat the forces of dark reunion? you're always in step with saiki, trailing behind his friends as you animatedly tell him about your day.
saiki hasn't ever poked and prodded about the reason behind your aversion to going home. even as a kid who denied his liking of you, he never rejected your habit of going over to his house that quietly built overtime.
saiki's room slowly transforms into your two's room. your perfume on his desk, your book on his nightstand, your lipgloss in his drawer... even a few of your trinkets sprinkled here and there.
never would saiki dare to move your belongings from his room.
and, despite the fact he'd deny it to the ends of the earth, saiki even goes out of his way to make his room more comfortable for you as time went on.
little things like an extra pillow for you to nap on or a travel-sized bottle of your face wash conveniently in his bathroom…was totally not saiki's doing.
as time went on, you even began to start staying at saiki's house overnight. not intentionally, of course, but he'd stop waking you up after you fell asleep on his bed. he'd end up sleeping on the floor or couch.
you'd apologize profusely, and being the textbook tsundere saiki is, he'd sigh and tell you not to do it again with feigned annoyance.
...and yet would never go out of his way to prevent it.
saiki, who'd obviously walk you home every night, no matter what.
saiki's parents would gush over you at first, but now treat you like part of the family. sometimes, you're even forced to do chores and wash dishes.
( like you'd mind, of course. you even like it. it feels like you're apart of their family. )
saiki, who once lent you his school jacket when yours was too wrinkled by sleep
… and was instantly caught by everyone when they saw how giant the jacket was on you. you were also, in fact, dress coded.
because of that, saiki went out of his way to inconvenience the poor teacher that dress coded you by psychically making him "lose" his lesson plan.
saiki's parents would also begin setting the table for one extra person every dinner.
saiki, who'd silently stew for hours on the rare occasion you didn't hang by his house.
he'd stalk your walking home via clairvoyance, and psychically ensured you'd come over tomorrow.
kurumi and kuniharu would, like their son, also complain endlessly if you didn't come.
the next day, when you do, they'd serve you extra portions and insist you never miss a day again!
( the saiki family would also end up bringing you on the trips to saiki's grandparents' house, to saiki's utter dismay. )
saiki, who continued to have you invade his space for years to come...
...for he became your roommate in college,
...and then lived with you after you two married.
and never complained once.
