Palpatine and Plagueis - Observing

(If I remember correctly in the Darth Plagueis novel, Sidious and Plagueis were said to sometimes observe the Jedi Order while unseen. All I can imagine is them lurking around, making shifty eyes at passing Jedi and muttering ill-will.)

Anyways, I’ve a list of my current fave self-indulgent things, which includes: Sithly master and apprentice stuff™.

Also doubles as a sketch for the quick challenge to make stuff about underloved characters! These two were suggested by lorddarthsidious :)

A ..sith lightsaber duel training.

Darth Tenebrous, Darth Plagueis, Darth Sidious, Darth Maul, Darth Tyranus (i don’t think Palpatine would duel with Dooku so there is no that pair) and Ventress

I also try to draw Maul & Savage but the Tatoo are to annoying..so just abandon it :P

There are some clues about the fighting style of Tenebrous and Plagueis from “Darth Plagueis”, like,

“To Plagueis, lightsaber duels were tedious affairs, full of wasted emotion and needless acrobatics. Tenebrous, however, who had pronounced Plagueis a master of the art, had always enjoyed a good fight, and had clearly bequeathed that enthusiasm to his other trainee.”

Also from the style of Venamis, I thought Tenebrous should like to fight in an acrobatic way with some strange leaping like movement…

And Plagueis could be very fast and limber my my imagination…but a twisted Muun would be so odd to draw!

Favreau can pluck the relatively minor character of Cobb Vanth from the Aftermath books and give him a fairly prominent role in not one but two of his series, can remember that Brendol Hux was part of the attempt to rebuild the Empire and go so far as to cast Brian Gleeson in the role, can bring Gilad Pellaeon into live action, but refuses to put Rae fucking Sloane’s name in his mouth?  She who had a far more central role in the Aftermath books and was an important leading figure in the Imperial remnants?  Just completely ignore her existence and neither of the unnamed women from that meeting could possibly be her character?  I see.  Coupled with this season’s absolute refusal to say Satine fucking Kryze’s name, I’m starting to give Favreau some serious stink-eye.

Like for real. They had the damn Shadowcouncil in the show, but not Sloane??? They obviously know about the Aftermath Trilogy (probably just wookieepedia skim read). Putting Brendol there but not Sloane is super weird.
