to really get into the serious call up conversation/consideration sanchez needs to be scoring and creating against top competition. so far her goal contributions have been against reign (14th), louisville (16th), chicago (15th), boston (12th), houston (11th), and her only goal against a team in the playoff picture is portland (5th). she's having an incredible season on the whole, but if she wants to unseat players who emma already knows and is comfortable with, i think she needs to get stats up against better teams.

Long story short: FIFA announced a plan to essentially sell operations of the world cups off to a private equity firm. UEFA immediately fired back with a unanimous decision that none of their members would compete in any FIFA competition if this happened. CONCACAF & AFC also convened and rejected the plan. FIFA just announced they would not move forward with the sell-off

This all happened in the past like 4 days
