I have things I want to say for those out there who are dealing with unpleasant people saying unpleasant things and making their days horrible.
We may be strangers on internet, and we don't know each other and I don't know the things you're going through. Either way, I'll say this.
You're beautiful, inside and out.
You're stronger than you think otherwise.
Your works, be it fanfics or artwork or whatever, are unique. One of a kind.
And if people say otherwise for whatever reasons to dampen your mood, ignore them and don't listen to them because they're just people who got nothing better to do with their lives and decided to hurt people for the sake of toxic 'misery loves company'.
It hurts me on the inside that there are people out there who had gone their way to make their days horrible and make them feel doubtful of their works and efforts.
I've experienced it here and there, and yeah it sucks and it bothered me greatly for a while but I ignored them. Why? Because I took it as motivation to do better as a responding 'f you' to them.
Interaction with reactions is what they want from you, which goads them on. Don't give them that satisfaction. Simply either block them or delete their comments and move on.
If it's real life, cut them out from your life. People who don't appreciate you for even the littlest things that matter, are not worth to keep around. If they make excuses in order to gaslight you or such, don't backpedal. Keep standing up for yourself for the sake of your own peace and safety and health.
You got people who are willing to support you through harsh times. You got people who care about you, be it strangers online who went through similar things like you.
And if you don't have that, then I'm willing to be that person and so are others out there willing to lend an ear and a shoulder to lean on.
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
