deliberately make your house look like a nasty-ass cave
@decorsnark Should I be ashamed of how much I love the soup can?!??!!
I have seen far worse however yes that is a very... difficult piece of furniture to avoid looking tacky. (at least this room is Interesting and has A Personality and is not a Beige Hellscape, eclectic decor is not automatically a bad thing even though I do have Questions about the soup can. Is it meant to be a seat? A table? IMO it is bringing an otherwise mostly lovely room down, but it’s not the worst piece even in this room... that dubious honor goes to the dick statue on the mantle. Just. Why. You have a nice classy living room and you’re just gonna... slap a dick on it. And a giant soup can to boot. WHY.)

this might be the most cursed interior design photo I’ve ever seen. I don’t even know where to start. The deformed mutant spine lamp? the hanging beast with the decorative tongue, with other creepy figures nearby? The girl on the couch who looks dead? The row of soupcan posters? The flowers in the foreground pretending this is just a normal table in a normal house, nothing unusual here, carry on? Anyway, this one sums up nicely in one word: YIKES!
September sun.
why’s there a pillow hanging from the ceiling tho that is not how u use pillows

I can smell the tobacco patina and grandpa cologne from here...Â

@decorsnark There is nothing you can say to convince me that there is ANYTHING wrong with this beautiful decor scheme.
I’m seeing condiments and avocado tbh but it is not greige so that’s a point in its favor
Yowza in yellow, blue, fuschia, and purple. Can you get a load of this painting and this rug and this room? Vavavavoom! Source.
Hang painting over bookshelf, blocking access to shelves. Sounds like a good plan... or maybe not.Â
NO. @decorsnark
ngl this is pretty horrifying

this room looks SO uncomfortable and impractical wtf
@decorsnark what the fuck is that chandelier. what the fuck
I dunno for sure but it looks like Chihuly and uh yes it looks like multicolored sperms but that’s kinda the guy’s schtick don’t ask me why it just is... and that is by far not the most spermy thing he’s done, look at this motherfucker he managed to convince Utah’s symphony orchestra to put that up in their performance hall so kudos for sheer balls my dude. Anyway I have to give respect to the decorators here for committing to a color theme between the chandelier, the rug, and the Art on the landing up there. It might not be standard but it IS cohesive without being Beige Hell.

i was loving this until i saw the bathtub and then all i could think about was you’re getting out of the bath and you slip on soap scum and fall 20 feet onto asphalt whoops
@decorsnark check out Pyramid Head bear
I think I may have reblogged this one before, but Pyramid Head Bear is definitely super creepy

I love ALMOST everything about this except... the wall-arts are bugging me. A lot. They’re set up like they’re supposed to match, but then... don’t. If you’re gonna do Symmetry you gotta commit, friendo! and on the right. There’s a lamp sorta hiding it butÂ
