Can’t find it home slice. But if he’s saying what I’ve heard him say about this song, it’s that he thinks dance songs are fun but have no lyrical substance. “If you’re favourite song is about shaking your butt, you have a problem” so he wanted to do his take on a dance song that was actually talking about something meaningful, like a long term relationship and all that fun emotional stuff. Am I close? It’s a fine idea in theory, but they have a full band of talented people and still they came up with the most generic radio dance track I could possibly think of, and the lyrics are still not even that impressive.
