So, what do I like?

Creating art in any medium, though I mostly stick to digital painting! D&D playing and hosting (on occassion), dice collecting, writing, speculative evolution and biology, herpetology, ichthyology, entomology; I collect -ologies like they're Pokémon cards. I'm also a super big fan of indie horror!

I'm on iNaturalist too, trying by best to learn how to identify inverts and fit my own niche there! I'm always open to learning, so please feel free to correct me about any misinformation.

not sure if it is autism or inaturalist (and in this circumstance these two things may be equivalent). but i CAN now identify any species of horseshoe crab with confidence. excited for this to be of no significance to my life even remotely

A wheel bug nymph (Arilus cristatus) on an afternoon stroll. This time next year she will be almost ready for her final molt into adulthood. A. cristatus is the only one of the five extant Arilus species found in the U.S, and they are considered beneficial insects whose presence is an indicator of a healthy, pesticide-free environment :}
