Sitting up and pulling the shirt over her head, she smiles at him. “Thanks.” Sitting cross legged on the bed she waits for Dorian to get back in bed, laying on his back. He still doesn’t look all the comfortable. She lays down, stretches, and shifts herself closer to him. She actually moves one of his arms to rest around her shoulders. “And I still don’t regret sleeping with you, none of it.” It’s a mostly true statement, though she’s starting to wonder how she’ll feel in the morning, and when she sees Dexter next. “Dee, I told you you don’t have to put on an act with me anymore. Please don’t feel sorry, I’ve had worse and you have been very polite about the whole matter, more than that it was enjoyable. What I want to know though,” she shifts to start massaging his jaw, “is how it felt for you. Do you feel satisfied?”
He moves his arm to put it around her, then shifts to hug her a little more closely to him. Dorian reaches down to pull the covers over them, grumbling a little at how calmly she’s taking everything. Also because he doesn’t exactly like the thought of anybody treating her more roughly than he had.
“I’m not putting on an act.” He grumbles a little more, mostly just unhappy with his own actions. He takes a breath and lets it out slowly, closing his eyes. He strokes his thumb over her skin lightly in back and forth motions.“Underneath feeling bad that I left bruises on you, I suppose I do. I mean, yes. I do. You were very-- Yes. You just have to understand that this is just very different for me, May. I haven’t ever exactly slept with someone I’ve known, before.” He shakes his head. “Enough talking. We’ll have time for it later. You should sleep.”
