Oh. Thank you, little girl.
You welcome mister.
I'm sorry about my dad. Maybe?
Who's your dad?
Jayce giopara? Big hammer man.
Oh, that guy...
You shouldn't have to apologize for your dad, kid. He's the adult. It's his job to say sorry.
He's too stubborn to say sorry...
Well, he should work on that.
He is! Thankfully. Anyway you look cool :3

[ Rp starter with : @sevikas-all-right ] Amaranthine since she had met Jayce had started really disliking being on her own. It had become second nature to her to always be around her dad almost no matter what. There was the odd time where she would be with Viktor but it wouldn’t be longer than a couple of days. So taking all that into an account and not wanting to wait for someone to come get her she went off down to the undercity. She had done this so many times now their chances of her getting lost are very slim to say the least. So when she found herself in a place she didn’t recognize she panicked. The girl did not know where to go or if she could really ask anyone where she was. Amara had learnt very early on to be very careful; I mean not many people know the defender of tomorrow had a child but some might. So she had to be very careful. She gripped the small soldier in her hand; the same one Giopara had fixed for her all those years ago now. She slowly felt tears build up in her eyes the more she wandered around the unrecognisable city; her little hands trembling slightly. Amara should have just waited in the lab for someone to come pick her up. But she did not. “I’m sorry… im sorry.” She mutters under her breath; trying to hold bac the tears best she can while she didn’t really pay attention to where she was going now. Amaranthine just wanted her dad. The girl looked so out of place and so lost. She stumbled as she walked and bumped into a couple people whispering small apologies as she went. Never fully staying long enough for them to ask any questions. She had never felt so lost or alone before.
Sevika had to run some errands, nothing too major, nothing she hadn't done before. It very much was one of those days though, where she was done with all this crap. Trying to make a better Zaun. Bullshit. No matter what she ended up fixing this time, it always gets messed up again. What the hell did it even matter then?
So as she walked down the dark alleys, she kept to herself as much as possible. Not attracting any attention was always the smartest move, didn't have to make her life harder than it had to be.
Great. Now there's also some thug doing the damned 'bumping into someone and stealing their stuff' routine. This really wasn't what she needed right now.
...That murmured sorry threw her off, though. She stopped and turned, trying to get a look at the person that had just bumped into her. A.. crying child? Clean clothes? Looking so lost? Damn it. Sometimes she wanted to kick herself for actually caring.
Sevika took a few small steps closer, crouching down. "Hey, kid. Are you lost?" She tried to sound as non threatening as she could, though her dark appearance and rough voice probably wasn't making it easy.
Amaranthine almost felt dizzy. She didn’t know where she was going, she didn’t know what to even do in the moment. Amara paused, hearing a voice behind her. Her hands were now noticeably trembling as she turned to look at the stranger. “Mhm… I thought I knew where I was going…and then I didn't.” She knew not to talk to strangers; but she had no other choice at the moment. Amaranthine was lost and had no other choice. It was probably fine. The girl looked down feeling more tears roll down her cheeks. “I I just wanted to make sure my dad was okay… and and i didn’t wanna wait and now hes gonna be upset with me because i wandered of on my own and and i don’t know what to do-” The kid rambled on, she was in some sort of visible distress; again she wasn’t used to being alone for so long. She normally had someone around. She covers her mouth slightly with her arm to cough. She was definitely not used to the undercity. I mean why would she. She only ever came down here to see Viktor or if Jayce had to come down to sort something out…with, well Viktor. So her time down here wasn’t common. But that was already very noticeable on how she dressed and overall looked in the grand scheme of it all.
"It's okay. I'll help you out." Sevika smiled faintly at the trembling child, maybe it could offer some comfort.
She took off the scarf around her neck, the one she used to cover the lower half of her face. Gently, she draped it over the little girls neck. "Use that to cover your mouth. The air here is s- unhealthy."
That child was definitely not from down here and with how far topsiders had their heads up their asses, she maybe shouldn't swear around her. She'll try, at least.
With her head she gestured towards a quieter alleyway. "Come, let's go over there and you'll tell me about your dad. Then we find him. Deal?"
The others smile, and words calmed her down slightly. Amaranthine gave her a small nod, wiping away the tears on her cheeks with the back of her hand. Looking slightly puzzled when given the others scarf. "Oh! thank you."
She smiled ever so slightly at Sevika; as she would then move the scarf around so it would stay covering her face. The kid maybe in the moment, a little too trusting of the other. Then again, if they really wanted to do something wouldn't have they just done it by now?
She glanced at Sevika and then down at her hand before nodding. Amara would then grab her hand, dragging her along. The kid had seemed to calm down at least a bit. Stoll looking a bit scared but not as bad as a moment ago. "I I think he's with his friend.... but I don't know how to get there from here." She shrugged slightly.
The moment Amaranthine took Sevika's hand and pulled her along, it reminded her of helping to raise Jinx- the job she didn't want but.. didn't mind. Not that she'd ever admit that, though.
"Do you know the name of the place? Where his friend is, I mean. Maybe I know the way." It was nice seeing that the child had calmed down, even if just a little. Sevika's glad no one else got to her before she did. The poor thing could've easily stumbled into some really bad situations down here.
As Amaranthine started to calm down, she started hopping up and down. She giggled slightly, looking up at Sevika, giving the other a small shrug. " I don't think It has a name. My dad's friend is known as uhhhh... the machine herald, though." She probably knew better than to actually admit who her dad was. He was pretty well known, to say the least.
She looked around slightly to see if she recognised anything yet. Amaranthine did not. She understood that she hadn't seen all of Zaun realising she was lost was very easy. Amara hoped Giopara wasn't worrying too much.
The way the girl had calmed down was a sweet sight and Sevika couldn't help but smirk to herself.
"Machine Herald? That guy's got friends?" The words flew out her mouth almost impulsively. That whole situation was strange to her. This child that was obviously from topside wanted to find her dad that was friends with- Ah. Her dad was probably a client. That makes more sense.
"I know where to find him. I'll take you there." Sevika tugged at the girls hand gently, talking in her firm tone.
Amaranthine shot a small glare at the off-hand comment questioning if viktor had friends. She did not like the insult of someone she would consider a co-parent to say the least. She lightly kicked Sevika in the leg. Showing her slight disliking of the comment.
"I mean, I think there, friends. They like used to fight a lot.. well, they still do is just less. I get to spend time with Mr. V sometimes, which is nice. Even though he isn't as easy to mess with." Amaranthine rambled on. She wasn't really sure what her dad's and Viktors' relationship was in the first place. Whenever she'd ask, she never really got a straight answer to it all.
Amaranthine huffed slightly at the small tug. Though she would follow anyway. "....Do you think I can get something to eat?"
"Did you just- Ugh" Sevika grunted angrily as the child kicked her, though she didn't actually move to scold her. She was used much worse from children anyways.
Sevika kept quiet as Amaranthine talked about her dad's relationship to the Machine Herald. Things didn't quite make sense to her but it's whatever. Only thing that matters is getting that girl to safety. Of course she wouldn't simply hand her over once they got there, she'd determine the situation herself first. If that supposed friend is as strange as she'd heard, that girl would come back with her instead. If she wanted to or not.
"Eat?! Seriously?" Sevika exclaimed with furrowed brows. "Do you have money?"
Amaranthine giggled slightly at the others' reactions. A small grin on her face. I'm not making any mind of it, though.
She would slightly swing their arms as they both walked. Amara giggled, slightly seemingly having a lot more energy now. The girl glanced over to the others' arms, looking very interested in it. "Your arm is cool."
Amara glared up at Sevika. "What do I look like? A wallet. No, I don't have money... but I am also.....in a place I don't know and food would be realllyyyy nice." She would frown ever so slightly at the other. She was a bit too used to getting her way a lot if the time.

You seen dad this morning? I woke up and couldn't find him.
- @defenders-darling
He came to my place earlier. He's real hurt, but in time he'll be okay. I'm keeping him in check.
...could someone bring me to yours-
Being in the lab on my own is weird.... ya know?
