It's not just that flowers exist as a life-form but that there are thousands of varieties of them and not only are they indescribably beautiful but also the bees that go to them turn them into honey that's not only for them to eat but also copiously more than bees could ever need and not only possible for humans to eat but also extremely delicious. How much more vastly generous than bare evolutionary necessity. How could anyone not think that there is a God
Selective breeding so honey bees make more honey. Also, a bunch of other animals can eat honey, such as mustelids, opossums, bears, monkeys and other apes. Nature works in harmony.
Point missed -
1. actually in nature bees make so much honey it clogs up their hive and they have to find a new hive
2. Why should bees feed any other animal, it could have been a black nasty sludge toxic to everything except bees
Also!! Honey is so amazing! Healing and preserving, its antimicrobial, antibacterial, antibiotic on an open wound! Honey is such a gift!
Just a hunch here, gop. But I think being 14 and married to a gross older man or dying in a mining accident is a bigger threat to a child than hearing about trans people.
okay i'm gonna say something and you all have to give me a chance. ready?
we need to stop making fun of poor american southerners who distrust the government. it's real easy to call them all conspiracy theorists and dismiss them, but half the time, its built off of a genuine feeling of being abandoned by the infrastructure meant to keep them safe.
in appalachia, a lot of people lost their homes because of coal mining operations. a lot of people worked in those mines, and then when the mines stopped being profitable, they got tossed out with the bathwater. a lot of appalachia is poor, malnourished, and i don't blame them for not trusting rich politicians who dismiss them as stupid and lower class.
if yall actually listened to half the things poor southerners say, you'd realize that a Lot of common leftist complaints are virtually identical to the rural grandma who doesn't hold with electronic money and politicians. it stems from a genuine feeling of abandonment and ostracization by the people who run the country. functionally, someone living paycheck to paycheck in the city in a tiny apartment has infinitely more in common with someone from rural appalachia than a politician. high rent, high taxes, food insecurity, feeling lied to by those in power, a general sense of frustration. it just sounds fancier coming from a city mouth than one with shitty teeth and a southern accent.
tl;dr stop dismissing southern people as stupid. they're absolutely right not to wholeheartedly trust politicians, because they've been fucked over by them time and time again, and honestly, id rather talk to a southern person who openly distrusts their representatives than someone from the city who wholeheartedly believes that Frederick Jamestown OldMoney III genuinely cares what people think and can be convinced to change his ways.
you need to get it out of your mind that psychosomatic illness is just “making up symptoms” when it’s actually much more like your body is being actively poisoned by chemicals released from your brain
if you’re so stressed that you’re puking your guts up every morning, are unable to eat or keep anything down, you can’t look at light without feeling infinitely worse and feel exhausted and in pain all the time (or whatever your particular stress induced symptom set is) you’re not just feeling like that because you’ve willed it into being. your body is begging for relief from the constant barrage of stress hormones and it requires the fundamental source of stress to go away, not just distracting yourself from the symptoms
just because the root is psychological doesn’t mean the result isn’t an entirely physical process.
The seperation between physiological and psychological is questionable at best anyway. It is occasionally usefull to think about it like that, but ultimately they are intrcicately linked at the very least.
Depression can be cured by adjusting hormone levels, fear comes from your amygdalae and DID can be observed on EEG results.
There is not fundamental difference between physiological and psychological, other than the way we typically observe it in every day life.
We can thank our elders and powerful ancestors for the resilience and strength we have inside of us. Don’t be fooled, you have it too.
“Don’t get me wrong: you can learn a lot on the internet. You can learn more than at any previous time in history. But ingesting information is only half of learning. The other half, the more important half, is responding to that information, thinking critically about it, about what it implies. Does it fit with your worldview? If not, why not? This is the part of learning that turns knowledge into wisdom, into action. This is the part of learning through which you create yourself, and it demands mental free time, time when you’re not consuming media of any kind, when you’re doing nothing at all. By greedily claiming every appointment on your mind’s timeline, the internet erases these vital hours from your life.”

every month with chronic & mental illness in the US is like please ma'am may I have some more of the medications that make me not die I've been a very good boy. and the doctor is like of course. let me ask the corporations. and then I call the pharmacy a few days later like hey so my doctor said I'm allowed to live. can I have those medications...the corporations said I couldn't ask for them any earlier so I'm out now...and they're like oh, some inexplicable delay has occurred with the corporations or the mail or our computer, even though you do this here every single month and have for years now. and then a week and a few calls later the corporation is like "ugh.....fine. you may live. that'll be hundreds of dollars." and I'm like "why am I even asking you if you're not going to pay for this" and they're like there is simply no other way this can happen without me making billions of dollars and as I'm sure you understand that is the greater good. see you next month if you live!

Casual cruelty has become so ingrained in a lot of people because we live in a society that is structured in a cruel way. To be quite honest you are obligated to consider the harm of your words and actions no matter your personal hardships.
