He had just eaten, and honestly he wasn’t expecting a near attack to the face via door again. It had startled the teen so much, he’d backed away catching his breath. Fritz was a naturally clumsy male, but he knew for a fact that he didn’t just swing the door open hard. Not to the point of smashing in his face. Thankfully his answer came in seconds.
It was an older male. Oh boy did he get hurt every time he met someone new, or almost hurt. Man, was the world out to get him. Thankfully Fritz was extremely forgetful, so this event would be forgotten in a day luckily for the older male. Still, there was one thing bothering Fritz. Well… Not bothering per say, but making them feel lesser than the male in front of them. He seemed much more accomplished then themselves. He’s so formal I don’t know what to say! “O-oh. No worries. I usually get hurt anyways!” CRUD! NO! FRITZ BAD! HE’S PROBABLY GETTING THE WRONG IDEA! “Never been in em’, don’t got the time to. Heard they’re pretty rad. Either way I don’t hold any grudges…. Whoever you are? Sorry I don’t know your name. Mine’s Fritz.”
Hurt? To be honest every day even now he was hurt, but that was just from work. His back was killing him these days, yet Fritz never wanted to go to the doctor. If he went he wouldn’t afford rent, so that meant going to the doctors was a no go. The teen was poor, which was why he worked at three jobs. One of them he just quit, because he was killing himself traveling from Leuda to Arcadia everyday. “Nah, I’m fine. I’ll bounce back anyways. Guess I should move. You’re going in aren’t you?”
Amir blinked at the man in front of him, and although he seemed like a rather cheerful fellow, he couldn’t help but honestly feel...a bit concerned following his words. He...usually got hurt? Was he one of those people who just had bad luck,
His expression gave way to said feeling of concern. “That’s...that’s terrible, honestly. I hate being another statistic in you getting hurt.” He said before smiling slightly. “Yes, the baths and springs are pretty great. I’d recommend trying it sometime.”
The white-haired man smiled and dipped his head a bit. “Well, that’s good to hear. Pleasure to meet you, Fritz. That’s understandable, since I have not been on the island terribly long. My name is Amir.” He said happily.
“Well, if you’re sure about that...” He said hesitantly, and then shook his head. “Oh, yes. I apologize again.” He said. “How long have you been on Arcadia? If I may ask.” He added curiously. He honestly was curious about all the people in this town, and he didn’t want to pass up the chance to get to know someone a little bit better.
