Obviously not biologically or legally but it turns out when you end up working with a bunch of rebels, a lot whom are at least a decade your junior and have no parents, you just sort of fall into the role of team parent. Vali and Narfi specifically view us as parents I suppose since they were just so young when they showed up trying to join the Resistance that we couldn't leave them on their own and Fenrir already had his hands full with training Skoll and Hati."

"I had thought that losing her son due to that horrid train would convince her that it wasn't worth it, but it seems that she's too far gone for that. Still if I cannot manage to stop what Odin will unknowingly bring about in her madness what I have done should be considered a kindness to him that he will not have to suffer through it."
