In this tutorial, I will create a splash screen style artwork based on my original character Megarah. I simulated being in a real working environment where I need to make multiple studies, and getting various feedback from people before moving to the final version.

This tutorial focuses on the dynamic composition and clean stylized rendering techniques that is popular among recent games like League of Legends, DOTA 2, Hearthstone, SMITE, Mobile Legends, and many more! 

Hopefully by the end of this tutorial, you can turn your favorite characters into epic splash page illustrations!

This was one of my entries for John Parks mini Patreon Contest. I usually don't have much time to do personal stuff these days so yeah.

I was also really lucky that I placed 1st! I was inspired a bit by Ruan Jia's style for this one just like how John emulates other artist's styles. Pose is bland I know... next works should be more dynamic.
