Hi! My name is Mewyra (pronounced mew-ira). I’m slowly getting back into art after years of not doing any of it so that’s mainly what I’m trying to post. I also really love Transformers, specifically the Predacons, so this is where I’m going to gush about them, my ideas, and at some point MAYBE the AU that’s been building up in my mind for ages now. (I may be cringe… Oh well)

theory time/thinking aloud

My theory is that maybe the Allspark can let sparks go out if someone is cloned close enough- Since it isn’t able to work in making new cybertronians naturally because of ..being in a jar LOL!

Basically I only think this is possible because of how many times the Allspark must have had to let a spark return to it while being in that jar. So many Cybertronians died after the planet was destroyed and the Reliquary of the Primes was sent out- So if it can take a spark in it might be able to let them out if it wants to.

I don’t research or anything, I just like to daydream and fill in the blanks myself, so I wonder if I’m dead wrong. But it would be really cool if someone knew…….

The reason why I wonder this so hard is because I’m writing an AU where the Predacons are FULLY restored, as in, they’re able to emerge out of and return back into the Well and the Allspark again, just like everyone else. So if that were to happen, would another version of Predaking be created? Or would the Predaking we know be able to legitimize himself somehow? He has to have a spark now, right? But if it isn’t the original, then what?? Yknow what I mean? Is he really Predaking???

I would love to brainstorm with somebody because this has been on my mind for months, and no one I know IRL is as fixated on the Predacons as I am to care :””””

Also hear this out: When Megatron’s Garage Omega Lock is shown, the VEHICONS are the ones working on it. VEHICONS. Remember this.

Later on in Predacons Rising they’re shown as so stupid they can’t even assemble a BUILDING.

THEY HAD JUST GOTTEN DONE BUILDING THE GOSH DARNED BLASTED OMEGA LOCCKKKK !!!!!!! AN ANCIENT IMPOSSIBLE-TO-KNOW STRUCTURE !!!!!! ARE YOU TELLING ME THEY CAN’T EVEN MANAGE TO BUILD A SHED AFTER THAT???? HELLO??????????

Transformers (Prime)

Guys, you know what's really sad? Optimus Prime never brought back a snowball for Rafael. Justice for Rafael!

Also, I love how abruptly this humorous line came.

*serious tone*

"The conditions are much too extreme, even for we autobots."

*long pause*

*turns around slowly*

"But... I will bring you back a snowball."

In the most deadpan but kind, gentle voice.

We waited the whole 22:13 minutes, but he never did bring one back. We waited the whole 19 episodes later, and Rafael, for all we know... suffered in silence.

I bet if Megatron offered him a snowball, he would switch sides. Kidding... Bumblebee is too cool to ditch him like that.

Also... I know, I know. This is an unusual post for me. I usually post more "serious" topics, writing advice, or progress on my own writing. Well, today I decided to be different. I love too many fandoms.

It was fun though. I really wanted to draw him smiling. He’s giving you a thumbs up, as if to say, “You can do this!!!” So, whatever tough thing you may or may not be going through right now, know that Inspirational Predaking is cheering you on!

The fact that we only got 3 Predacons in TFP is such a tragedy like I KNOW that we know this but I just can’t help thinking about how much potential they had as characters like…. The tiny handful of moments we got to see Skylynx and Darksteel actually talking and not just thrashing got me thinking about what everyone else would have been. Like what else were they like..? What would they have been like as a community? Who would have been besties with who? Idk I just miss them…. I feel robbed of silly dragon guy content….

Just happy Cybertronians being themselves having lives. Look I know Transformers is all about the bots vs cons war but like what if it wasn’t…. 💔💔💔

My root canal went really well so here’s a celebratory headcanon :3333

Post-war Predaking helping his dad Shockwave with some of his work because some big projects need extra hands and the vehicons aren’t exactly there for that anymore. Predaking indirectly learns a lot of science and actually gets pretty good at it (He’s smart!)

Shockwave hearing some of his ideas and… they’re at times surprisingly… logical…? And he actually implements them. He slowly becomes like a mentor to Predaking, at times deliberately explaining and demonstrating things for the purpose of educating him. Unintentionally he starts finding fulfillment in it, either because he is seeing his experiment have such success in intelligence or maybe because having someone earnestly curious in his work (especially someone who’s such a good listener and asks intelligent questions) is …slightly enjoyable.
