you know WHY will just wanted to play dnd michael wheeler?? you wanna know why?

will byers was taken into an alternate dimension at the age of 11 (or 12?!) by an open-faced, slimy monster. he was scared and alone and terrified of dying before he reached his teens.

there was one thing that he loved though. his favourite thing in the whole entire world. playing dnd with his best friends mike, lucas and dustin. this, along with his favourite song, shown to him by his big brother, was the only thing keeping him from losing any and all hope in escaping this horrifying world that’s ready to eat him up the moment he stops running.

this was his one source of comfort and imagine what he was thinking. he was thinking, “i wish this could all be a terrible dream and i could be playing dnd with my best friends in mike’s basement. if i ever get out of this hell, i’ll play dnd for as long as i can, because i never know when it might be my last game.”

maybe it wasn’t quite like that, but you understand the idea.

so, SORRY he just wanted to play dnd mike. sorry that he wanted to spend time with his best friends after losing half of his childhood to being kidnapped as well as possessed by a monster from the same dimension that he barely managed to get out of.
