My favorite thing about fanfic authors is they can identify any gap in a canon timeline where characters are offscreen and exploit the ever living fuck out of it

They truly wasted such a good character dynamic with these two (besides the offscreen rivalry or whatever they had going on).

I think they should have had an episode where Della is forced to work in the lab for a day or where Gyro is forced to fly a plane or something. Instead we got NOTHING!

love being a fan of both characters in a ship separately and then loving them together in the ship too. i would recommend it
