Orphan Black (2013)
- clone club
Temple Street Productions, the production company behind the sci-fi thriller, inked a deal with premium digital fiction startup Serial Box to create a brand-new installment, “Orphan Black: The Next Chapter” — continuing the story of the clone sisterhood and their allies (and enemies) after the end of the TV show.
Tatiana Maslany, the Emmy-winning star of “Orphan Black” who portrayed 14 different clones on the show, is on board to voice the new episodes. The 10-episode series will be available later this summer in audiobook and text formats exclusively from Serial Box. Boat Rocker Studios, the parent of Temple Street, is an investor in Serial Box.
According to Temple Street and Serial Box, “The Next Chapter” is the official continuation of the Orphan Black story, set eight years in the future from where season 5 left off and features the same characters, all voiced by Maslany. The companies aren’t sharing additional plot details but said “#cophine” — a reference to Cosima and Delphine — “definitely plays a big part in the story.”

ORPHAN BLACK GETS SEQUEL COMIC ‘CRAZY SCIENCE’ STARRING COSIMA AND DELPHINE
If you’re still mourning the loss of Clone Club, we’ve got good news – IGN can exclusively reveal that IDW Publishing is launching a new Orphan Black sequel comic, “Crazy Science,” that picks up right where Season 5 left off, with Cosima and Delphine traveling the globe to cure the other 274 sick Leda clones. Over the course of their journey, they’ll fall deeper in love, and deeper into a mysterious agenda which threatens to tear apart their noble mission, and their hearts.
The six-issue miniseries will be written by Heli Kennedy (Orphan Black: Deviations) with art by Fico Ossio (Transformers vs. Visionaries), and will debut in June 2018.
“I’m so excited to send Cosima and Delphine around the world. A scientist-superhero couple, saving clones in amazing locations — I couldn’t ask for much more, story-wise,” Kennedy says. “And I can’t wait to delve into who they are, outside of science. Both as a couple and individuals. Their intense love-work relationship is the perfect ‘in’ to explore their dreams, fears, families, the skeletons they keep hidden…all the good, challenging bits of a complicated relationship.”
And rest assured, Cosima’s sestras will also make an appearance, Kennedy says: “With 274 Ledas to find and cure, Cosima (and the old sestras) will definitely find themselves entangled in an international mystery. All this is definitely a balancing act for the couple. But 'Cophine’ wants it ALL — science and love. Though it’s, like, utterly crazy, I can’t tell you how awesome it is to sit down at my computer each day for a nice cup of Cophine (so sorry…couldn’t help myself).”

My beautiful sestra Kathryn Alexandre after she wrapped our last scene on Orphan Black. I love this woman, her intellect, her generosity, her creativity, her talent. I will miss playing these characters with her everyday. #farewellorphanblack (x)
