I just realized something really sad. Satyr's age half as fast as humans. Grover started off as mature as a human 14 year old, and Percy was 12. But as the years go on, Percy began to catch up, and eventually Percy is older than Grover in human years. One day Percy will be 92 but Grover will only be 59. Grover will have to see Percy and Annabeth and all of the other original and new campers die. Grover will have to live over have of his life without his best friend.

What if one day Nico learns that consuming enough ambrosia could end him life? (Basically an overdose)

And the infirmary (or the Big House, take your pick) has a stash of ambrosia.

And what if after Jason dies, Nico is so genuinely broken that he just...?

And Will is only able to stop him because he's at the "infirmary" 24/7.

And its a horrible, heart-wrenching moment. Beyond description. Will glimpses only a fraction of Nico's emotional pain, and stays by his side regardless, pulling him away from what could have been his death.

But it's the moment Nico knows Will is there for him, despite the horrible surrounding circumstances. It's the moment he realizes that nothing he could do could ever, EVER, push Will away.

Just a thought. It never actually happened.

But... but it could have.

My favorite part in The Blood of Olympus is after Percy's nosebleed as he's complaining and being rude to the gods. And all of the other demigods are just shocked and think he's gonna get killed. But Percy just seriously doesn't care, and gods don't even care that much either. Best part of the book.
