The moment I knew I was gay was the moment she turned around and my eyes were still watching her, studying the way her hips swayed, the way her hair caught the slightest bit of sun, and the way she moved like nothing in the world mattered. shout out to the people who didn’t realize how hurt they were by their circumstances until they were out of them shout out to the people that accumulate years of trauma before they thought their plea for help was valid shout out to the people who cannot refer to a single event to explain why they’re so hurt shout out to the people who are not taken seriously because nothing ‘devastating’ happened in their life shout out to the people who cannot tell you what hurt them because it’s all so broad shout out to the people that don’t realize what’s hurting them and don’t understand why their sad
