So- I wrote a thing about Kit and Ty directed towards Kit about Ty.

It feels a little like an interrogation Anyway! Here you go:

It should be nothing more than meaningless script scribbled on a piece of pale paper,

But words have the power to change us.

When you look into those grey eyes, what do you see?

Is it familiarity?

Perhaps it's as simple as sympathy?

How often does the thought "How beautiful" cross your mind?

At least a few times each page?

When a new chapter begins, will you still struggle to find the words to describe those eyes, the color of the edge of a blade, or the strands of his midnight black hair?

When will that dazzling smile seize to leave you speechless?

Can you see the world through his eyes yet?

Like peering through a looking glass.

A kaleidoscope version of your world.

Do you see how overwhelming it all is?

Do you watch his hands flutter at his sides, busy trying to calm his racing mind?

Do you know what he listens to with his frost painted headphones?

Will you calm his panic when he needs you?

Will you love him as much as we do?

The daily Tiberius Nero Blackthorn deserves better rant

So I know no one asked my opinion but I’m giving it anyways because- because I am. 

As much as I love this fandom dearly, I feel like we throw a certain Tiberius Nero Blackthorn too much hate. Like as in he doesn’t deserve any hate, and the fact that he gets some is too much.

So I’m not the most educated person in the world, so please correct me if you feel I’m wrong. 

I see this argument on who’s fault the Kitty falling out was and it bothers me that some people blame Ty (this post isn’t about my opinion on this topic specifically so I’ll try not to go there) but I want anyone who believes this to try and put yourself in Ty’s shoes.

Okay so you’re now in Tiberius Nero Blackthorn’s shoes. You’re an autistic person in a society that’s very ableist and have basically been told your whole life to hide yourself away because it will protect you. You meet this person and you slowly gain trust for them, you tell them things you’ve never told anyone before and you do things with them you’d never do with anyone else, because they’re your friend and you trust them (Christopher Jonathan Herondale). 

You’re very overwhelmed and probably at one of the worst points in your life, and this person is like, “I love you” (see that one part in one of the books I’m pretty sure Ty mentions he thinks I love you are just words but don’t quote me on that I’m not sure). You, Tiberius Nero Blackthorn, don’t process the words, and continue with the necromancy. 

Then, person you’ve trusted more than you’ve trust anyone else in your life (Christopher Jonathan Herondale) leaves you without saying goodbye, it’s stated he doesn’t want to say goodbye to you, and doesn’t offer any explanation to why he’s mad at you. You, Tiberius Nero Blackthorn, are not a mind reader, how are you supposed to know why he’s mad at you. (you can argue all you want about Kit and his childhood, I completely understand that and think it’s valid, but I’m not talking about that right now)

Do you see where I’m coming from yet? Maybe not, that’s okay too I guess. I just wanted to give you a look into my opinion, because it bothers me that we blame Ty for this. 

I’ll probably delete this later because it was impulsively written while I was mad but enjoy it while it lasts I guess.

Emma, smugly: Oh? You don't know? That seems strange.

Kit, putting his phone down: Actually, I was just wondering what you meant by "favorite." Because if you mean the one he most enjoys eating, it's pancakes. Julian's to be specific, because according to him no one else makes them the same. But, if you are talking about food he likes and would eat over and over, then it's eggs. Ty only eats pancakes on pancake day but he'll eat eggs repeatedly because he admires that they are versatile and he can make multiple foods with them but they are also familiar enough that he finds a simple scrambled egg comforting after trying new foods. Such as the food at the Ethiopian place I suggested we go to on the date we made just now.

Okay but tell me this wouldn't happen. Tell me Emma wouldn't start testing Kit and Kit, knowing everything about his beautiful boyfriend would absolutely stun her and be like "never underestimate how much I love him ever again"
