Mii spam- Sunday issue

Ezra got in a fight with Mr. V so Tony tried to cheer him up.

It did not work.

Only his mother could effectively calm him.

Xave and Maddy continue to have secret feelings.

Newt seems to have forgotten that he and Anathema already have three.

(I turned him down. I also turned down Ezra, although I kind of wanted to know what that kid would look like.)

Ezra and Atiku had a treasure fight with a glove and historical document because they’re nerds.

Hi! As an avid fan of Good Omens, Good Omens fanfiction, an Paralives, this is something I've wanted to try for ages: For one of my first Paralives saves, I created the Good Omens universe from By my side, the awesome fic of @demonicputto! I'm still finding bugs, and my screenshots aren't the best, but I will explore what the game has to offer :)

The Clarks' house, the manse:

We see next to the Clarks, the Westwich church, and the annex building, including the Jays house (the last photos show Elijah's office and one of the classrooms, and a view of the Jay's home: After that, some screenshots of them! Ezra and little Tony, Edith, Maddy and Elijah:)

Oh, and you can see now a playground near the manse! I found it in the Steam Workshop, it's only decorative for now.

First: gossiping about your mom with your favorite teachers.

Then Aziraphale decided to propose. Tony got out flowers at the exact same time and they proposed to each other. ❤️

I don’t think the book is rare any more. Also, you should know that “Book of Prophecies” is pronounced by the characters as “The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter”.

I just made a teeny retcon to Part 10. It's actually returning two lines to the way they were written in my original draft. For those of you who were reading at the time, you might remember that I wrote it before Season 2 came out but posted most of it after the release.

At the time, I felt compelled to take Season 2 into the canon of my fic. Not, of course, the current day things, since my fic had clearly diverged before that, but the flashbacks--at least as much as could make sense.

The only place this really changed anything was in Chapter 4 when Aziraphale is talking about all the different versions of Crowley that he's loved. Before posting I made a change to this sentence: "I do miss Anthony, but in the way I miss all the old versions of you. The way I sometimes miss the little boy who followed me around and the awkward teenager and that curious, friendly demon from the Garden of Eden." I added in a reference to 'the star maker'.

And in this sentence: "But I still see you, and if I could go back thousands of years, to before The War and talk to a handsome red-haired angel in the star department, I know I’d recognize a familiar person at his core." I added in the word 'again' to imply that they had met, rather than it merely being Aziraphale imagining what it would have been like.

I put the sentences back to the way I first wrote them. I don't feel like I have to stick to the sequel canon anymore. I love parts of season 2, but the book and season 1 are what inspired the series, and I don't feel like I have to try and jam the puzzles together anymore. It can just be a season 1 fic, and that's okay.

And, personally, although I know people have liked imagining them meeting in heaven since before there ever was a show, I've always preferred them meeting in Eden. Their story is very much connected to Earth and I like it that way. And I like Aziraphale protecting Crowley from the rain because he's kind, rather than returning a kindness.

I left a shorter version of this note on chapter 4 as a note to re-readers, so that no one feels like they're going crazy if they go back and find it's changed.

Hey 👋 Good Omens fan

Are you interested in a different take on the ineffables becoming human? One where the world and afterlife are still there? Where at least one of them has his memories? Same thing happened with Tony but I haven’t gotten him to build a Les Miz based friendship with Ezra yet.

Last rant and then I'll post funny miis or something.

In a way that feels uncharacteristic for me, I find myself disliking the ending the longer I sit with it. Normally I can warm up to something, but I feel like the whole thing flies in the face of the book.

As I ranted about earlier, humans have free will in the Good Omens universe. That's the whole point. Free Will is what lets Adam stand up to heaven and hell. He refuses to play his role because he's human and he doesn't have to.

But also, when Adam first gets his powers he starts changing things to "make things better". He wants to get rid of the all the bad stuff and make the world just the way he wants it. And he has to learn that the world is worth saving as it is. He puts it back nearly the same so that the world can have another chance.

Going, "actually this universe needs a restart because we can't work with it this way and the humans never had a chance to really have free will," doesn't make any sense!

I'm less mad that Aziraphale and Crowley got rebooted than I am that THE ENTIRE WORLD got rebooted. It's their world, and Adam's, and Anathema's, and Dog's, and the world of all those people who get little scenes in the book that got cut from the show. It's all of their world and it's worth saving.

Been thinking about it for a few hours now, and I think I've figured out something that bothers me about the end. I don't understand why the world needed to be restarted because I never thought the humans in the Good Omens universe didn't have free will.

I thought they did. I thought that was the point.

It's in the book: "Being a demon, of course, was supposed to mean you had no free will. But you couldn't hang around humans for very long without learning a thing or two."

It's also why the world is saved in the book/series 1. Because Adam just grows up being very human, without the expected interference, he has the free will to resist what's expected of him.

I guess I don't see what this ending gets us that the original ending didn't, when Adam told Heaven and Hell to stay out of everyone's business and Aziraphale and Crowley got to just go eat lunch together and chill.

As its own thing, I enjoyed it, but I’m happy the book never had a sequel.

I think, having seen it all together, the book, the first season, they’re stronger on their own.

And I’m very glad my giant fic series lives in that book/one season canon.
