tip for everyone having a hard time writing notes while studying/reading: I know I haven’t posted in months but I’m currently working on my thesis and at the same time I have classes where we need to do a lot of reading. it’s hard, I tell you that. however, I’ve learned that it is easier to read a book first before making notes. if you’re tasked to read from chapter 1 to chapter 10, don’t go and write notes while reading because it will only distract you and you’ll end up writing everything, I swear. read first, read again, then write after. not only will you understand what you’re studying, but you will also have less messy notes. stay healthy and happy everyone!  ♡( ◡‿◡ )

So I’ve been inactive for a while, sorry! I’ve been seriously sick so I was unable to study much and tumblr went to the bottom of priorities.

I’m back now though, and I have a lot of catching up to do so I started a bullet journal to track my time better, I’ll post that in a few days when I’ve found a layout I’m fine with ;)

Since the last few days have been pretty busy with everything school related, I decided to take some time today to type in my handwritten fic.

Today I had product development class, and we had to do a visionboard, so I kind of got artistic. Most of the homework that I’ve gotten lately have been reading a page or two of something I’ve already studied, so my notes haven’t been that thorough.

Today's notes on economics! I'm not gonna try to translate names of subjects anymore because honestly it's confusing as hell, but basically this is the international part of it. We've only had one lesson on this model thus far and it wasn't homework but my teacher said we'd know it by heart in a few months so why not? The sticky notes are for fancies because I'm trying to make my notes more interesting to review. -Mickah

So again, these notes are from yesterday, I had to read a few pages on political systems and it was so concept-heavy it resulted in 3 full pages of notes. Well, today I mostly did flashcards and reviews, no new fancy spreads of notes and sadly no new colours either. -Mickah

So since today was more of a ‘I have a headache and I can’t handle reading and taking notes on that’ day, I just did a few exercises on equations using Khan academy.

We had 5 math lessons today. I made some notes during class, but they were so messy. So I decided to make some new. This is of course just the first site. Besides that, I did some laundry and took the dishes.

Today wasn’t such a productive day. Sadly school took a lot of my energy so I’ve spent my homework time on Khan Academy and Memrise instead of reading and notes.

Well at least now I know a little more about algebra and html so it’s not wasted time.

So today we had physics class, that was actually more math. It was so confusing that only like 5% of the class understood it. 95% guessed their way through. I rewrote my notes because they were one big confusing mess, and the 3 equations were homework...

Unlike Mickah and Hannah, I've been to school for over a week. This is my first "proper" notes I've ever made, so hopefully I will get better at it in the future. Practice makes perfection, right?

So like Hannah I’ve finished the second day of school. I’ve barely had any real lessons yet, so here’s a page with notes about the general economics class I was introduced to today!

Two days into the year

So today I finished my second day at HTX!

But so far, we haven’t actually had any classes. Meaning no homework to do.

Monday, we got to know each other in the classes, and learned about our new environments. We even had something called Stjerneløb. It’s a classical activity to learn new surroundings, by walking around the area and answering questions.

Today, we had IT – and Danish screening day. We got the help we needed to access the Wi-Fi and the printers. Then we got logins for the sites we need to use. Lastly, we got a Danish screening test. It’s a test to set your skill levels and determine if you’re dyslexic without knowing it. That apparently happens more often than you would think...

Tomorrow, we’re starting our actual classes. I’m having mixed feelings about that…

Introduction to us!

Hello! I’m Hannah. I’m 16 years old. I’m starting as first year student on HTX this year. I’m looking forward to it, even though I’m a bit nervous.

My personality type is ISTP. And my Hogwart house is Ravenclaw. In my freetime i mainly watch anime or youtube.

I will post about my progress, daily notes and what I did in the productive hour. Also a bit about my study environments!

My motivation for joining the blog was to feel more motivated, both in class and at home. I often struggle to get myself to concentrate and study, and therefore I’m hoping that this blog will help motivate me. My goals are to get better at taking notes, and get more general concentration.

My name is Elizabeth and I am 16 years old, I just began my first-year in HTX (not the same place as Hannah).

I got INFP in 16Personalities and I got Hufflepuff, Gryffindor and Ravenclaw in the test, though I relate mostly to Hufflepuff. My hobbies include baking and horse riding.

I will be posting progresses I’ve made in my homework, home-studies and my study environments. I will most likely be posting about English, Math and Danish. Though I might add some posts about programming.

This blog has already become a motivation to take notes, which I’ve never really done before. I have also been bad at doing my homework, so I hope this will keep me motivated.

Hi! My name’s Mickah, I’m 17 and this is my second first year of the Danish Gymnasium, this time on hhx (the line for more business orientated people)

I’m an ENFP slytherin and nearly all of my free time (currently) goes to anime and manga. 

From me you can expect a ton of German notes along with small daily updates, and a few notes on business practices and Japanese.

My main goal in joining this blog is to maintain a regular schedule for studying and hopefully avoid burning out (again)

So I decided to try and revive my German skills before school starts and here are some of the useful notes from that.

I’ve also cleaned out my old grammar folder since I missed half the lessons explaining stuff. Starting over isn’t as fun when there’s only a few days till school starts.

Back to school shopping is DONE! (well aside from a few tiny things...) Keep in mind that this is for all 3 of us, we might have still gone overboard with the notebooks, but they were CHEAP.
