Suzie did not understand the Vegas assignment at all (There’s ways to do vintage glamour that fits with a Vegas show promo) so she did deserve the bottom and she also did loose the lipsync, and since I think her’s and sam’s track records are pretty on par with each other, it really was up to the lipsync (I will say though her runway was FAB and I hate when the judges try to get a girl to switch up her entire drag identity in the guise of ‘changing it up and try something different’) HOWEVER I also do think that Lexie’s Vegas show promo video was way worse than sam’s promo, and I think the ‘overconfidence’ critique for sam’s interview with Latrice was BS and you could tell Latrice lived for her, and while the runway wasn’t incredible, I think with how the other aspects of the challenge went for her, it should have been enough to keep her out of the bottom! It should have been a Lexi vs Suzie lipsync with either Lexi going home or Lexi doing what she does best, producing a lipsync so jaw dropping that it sends Suzie home (Both options would have been satisfying)

s16 had some exceptionally talented performers really good lipsyncs and very little drama throughout the season so a lalaparuza made sense but why tf r we getting another one instead of a reunion for s17 where there was like 1 memorable lipsync and the cast is addicted to pissing each other off ☹️

I do know drag race can be pretty unfair and rigged sometimes but thats the case for most reality shows and I don't think the show is specifically out to get alt queens or out to eliminate your favourite on the show lol

they see suzie as the one to beat to secure their own spot in the top 4. they do not think she is going to win the entire thing. they have already accepted that onya and sam are finalists, and cannot accept suzie as a finalist bc they did not prepare to compete against an 'alt' drag queen for the top spots.

they can handle more traditionally accepted drag as their competition because they can plan for it, they can point out where they are doing better or worse, but they don't like to measure themselves against someone doing something else entirely.

suzie makes them uncomfortable not because they think she is going to win, but because they cannot account for her vs the other competition.
