While I was checking our messages today I noticed a private message from a former ZOS employee, reaching out to us to thank us for everything we do, and to say they used our site everyday.

On the same day they were laid off they took the time to reach out to us, because they truly cared about The Elder Scrolls. I personally know the same is true for many other names on that list. These weren't empty suits forwarding emails from one layers of managers to the other.

Just look at their job titles, a lot of them were clearly involved very heavily with game projects.

We are very saddened to learn of the passing of Camelworks. He did a lot to spread love of The Elder Scrolls and its lore throughout the community, and all of our interactions with him were extremely positive. Although I only had a few direct interactions with him, he without a question was willing to assist us with our own projects to the most of his ability.

Helloooo happy new year. I uh. Haven't posted in a while.

Unfortunately I have a ton of assignments to finish because the semester is ending in like 3 weeks. And I'm behind on a few so uh. Gotta focus on that.

I managed to finish this drawing though! So. I'm not dead. Really wanted to say thank you to all the people following me, I know I tend to disappear from time to time and I appreciate the patience. I'll try to check in more often.

Today might be the true 30th anniversary of The Elder Scrolls franchise. The early games in the franchise didn't get well recorded release dates, we have found contradictory evidence for a few of them. Searching Usenet, we found evidence people were playing Arena in February.

It may have been in distribution as early as February 03, 1994 to be specific. We even found someone stating that the first patch was in distribution for the game that month! While the official anniversary is March 25th, it's worth paying respects to the cult hit status of the early series.
