Ever since I started this secondary blog, I knew it was definitely going to be very complicated because I can’t follow anyone from this blog. That alone is very frustrating and there are a lot more disadvantages in having a secondary blog. I have been planning to make a new primary blog for ages but I never got to do it because I was so busy with school that I didn’t have the time to find a theme, etc. You know making another blog takes so much time and effort. That’s why I am only able to do it today since it’s our vacation.

My new blog has the exact URL I had before in this blog soooo I don’t think there’s any trouble with that hahahaha!

This blog, however, will remain kept but inactive. I will not delete this for the sake of keeping my old tumblr posts that I already reblogged in my new blog. See you there, guys!!

This Friday will probably be the last Friday gala I’ll ever have with them in Qatar. We’re all parting ways. :( If we ever meet again, I hope we’re still complete and still have the best puns. HAHAHA! It’s very sad how we only got to bond for a short period of time. I wish we could’ve met sooner.

So.. the squad decided to hang out for possibly the last time in Qatar. We went to… guess where? Villaggio!! HAHAHAHA! Guess who got there very late? Me!! You love me guys <3 We first bought cinema tickets for London Has Fallen then we ate at Shake Shack but as we all know, Shake Shack is hella expensive for a burger fast food, Erika and I bought fries from McDo AHAHAHA! Such badasses. Hey, we tryna save here so pls!! (Also I’m wearing black because I’m ready for your funeral ;)

After eating, we went window shopping whilst on the way to the cinema. I bought nothing really except for food and the ticket. I’m really trying to save money huhu this is for the next travels with the family. Just like our Hong Kong trip, I bought what I wanted because I saved up! Saving money for the future!

We walked to Hyatt Plaza they ate at CinnZeo, I didn’t buy anything because I don’t eat Cinnabon. It’s just too sweet and smells way too sweet. My taste buds cannot. T^T I don’t even eat cakes and brownies, let alone a cinnabon.

It was already getting late. 7:00 PM was when we started saying our goodbyes to each other. :( The hugs. :( I sure am going to miss you, guys. Thank you for everything!! This won’t be the last time we see each other! I love you all.

Moving Up Ceremony 2016

....and every student’s most awaited moment is here!!! Today was our Moving Up Ceremony. It started at about 4:40 PM at Qatar National Convention Center. 

Wearing my sash, walking to the venue which was the theatre (yes, theaTRE). I did my own make-up, btwwww! Thought I should be proud hahaha!

Me taking big steps because I was very eager to receive my Junior High School Certificate. 

I finally received it!!!! After four long years!! Look at that big smile!! You can almost feel how happy I am through the picture.

Oh wait, you can’t see me HAHAHA! (Ambition: to become a Medical Technician, they didn’t include Doctor :( I wrote there “Med Tech/Doctor,” oh well).

There! I zoomed it for you. That’s Sir Jason Iyaz, our school principal.

Once the event finished, we all went everywhere and took pictures with everyone. I’m so thankful to have these girls in my life (and a guy, Justin! HAHAHA), I wasn’t able to take pictures with Compassion Boys :( Everyone was so sooo busy crying, hugging, taking selfies, etc.

With the fam. Mom & Dad, I hope I made you proud somehow. I know I didn’t get the rank we all wanted for me, I know I became careless and contented this school year, and I’m sorry. I could have been at the top. Teachers, I know you wanted me to do better, and I took that for granted. I’m sorry! I’ll do better next time, you’ll see. :)

The event finished at 8:30 PM but still we went to Hyatt to eat dinner in Chilli’s. I was starving, I didn’t eat that much before the event. Regrets.

This day was our last day of signing of clearance, and once we finish our clearance, we can then get our invitation and sash (for moving up) from our advisers. So the first picture is my invitation, ribbons and sash. 

I brought extra shirt and pants because I knew we were going to go some place else which was Villaggio mall. Since we’ve just gotten our 300 riyals deposit in school, we felt like spending it HAHAHA! So we ate in a fancy Chinese restaurant, P.F. Chang’s. My friend, Erika, and I regretted that we forgot to ask the waiters for how many people the food is good for. We both ordered a hella expensive dish that were enough for two people already. It costed 59 riyals (700 pesos), when we could have ordered one dish for the both of us and save 29 riyals omgggg?? Anyways, well yeah the food was great. 

After eating, we went to Virgin Megastore. Erika and I decided we wanted to watch a movie but since the others couldn’t make it (they had to go home), only the both of us watched Batman v Superman. 

Batman v Superman was sooo thrilling!!! I still prefer Christian Bale as Batman. Although I admit, Ben Affleck did a pretty good job but heyy Christian Bale is still the best in my eyes. I won’t spoil you, so you should DEFINITELY watch it in cinemas!! I swear it’s so much better in cinemas.

After all those spending, I think yes we are really broke right now. Real quick. HAHAHAHA! Thank you guys for this day! I really really enjoyed!!

Trip Around Doha, Qatar

Our remaining days here in Qatar are counted. I might start doing a countdown real soon but not now, I’m not ready yet. I’m not ready to leave this country. :(

Corniche

When we first moved in Doha, from United Arab Emirates, I kept crying. I was heart broken. My room was unfamiliar to me, my bed was not MY bed, my window view from 18th floor in Sharjah was not there any more. I kept thinking and thinking and thinking every night, I couldn’t stop crying. Many many months after, I realized Qatar isn’t so bad after all.

We then decided to ride a Dhow for 30 minutes. 

Yes, the view was very breathtaking. I’ve been wanting to do this for agessss. Crossing this off my bucket list!

Souq Waqif

We then walked straight to Souq Waqif to look for food because well, we were starving HAHAHA!

We ate kebab which was very very very delicious (it was my first time eating it doN’T JUDGE HAHAHAH).

Museum of Islamic Art

In Museum of Islamic Art Park, Katara, and The Pearl, they held an event called Qatar International Food Festival. In MIA Park, they have different booths which sell different kinds of food. We ate at Gerry’s Grill although they have so many varieties, they even have Shake Shack.

We ended our night by watching their huge fireworks display. It was awe-mazing (I just made up that word right there HAHAHA!).

A regular Thursday. I would have only arrived from school as of this time of the day, but it was announced that there will be no practice (for our moving up). So, regular schedule: eat, sleep, repeat. HAHAHA! Nope, not this day!

It’s such a good feeling to have a biking session for at least two hours and to have a work-out session before that for a few minutes. I love the burn and the soreness I feel afterwards, knowing I have taken yet another step closer to my goals. I don’t know about you, but I’m trying to be fit and be in shape here HAHAHA! I’m trying my best, all right. 

I miss having wounds and scars due to playing outside with friends; biking, running, just playing in general. Those were the times I had no problems, even school doesn’t stress me out that much. Those were the times that scratches and wounds are the only pain I felt. I never knew anything that would cause pain other than bruises and scratches. Oh well, times have passed and pain really demands to be felt.

Although I admit, I wanted the celebration to get extended because everything went soo fast, I wasn’t able to cherish every single moment. Memoir-a-ball

Two days ago was our Graduation Ball. The theme was Oscars, and well we were supposed to dress as a celebrity or whoever. I guess I did a Pia Wurtzbach? HAHAHAHA! Whatever, she’s my girl crush and idol.

My dress looks like red, but it’s actually hot pink. Fuchsia. Thank goodness my heels last year matches this dress so that I don’t have to buy another. My accessories were from prom last year except for the one on my left wrist. 

My hair was done by my lovely mother, and my make-up was done by me. If you wanna see which products I used, I mentioned it all in my previous blog post. 

I’ll be your Audrey Hepburn, if you’ll be my James Dean. 

I’m not going to post every picture here because obviously I took a lot of pictures, they’re posted on my Facebook anyway.

So yes, I had so much fun that night. A perfect night with the perfect people. I had fun despite my killer heels HAHAHA! It was a little tight on me since I bought those heels LAST YEAR. I didn’t want to buy another pair because my dress was already pricey.  

What a blast. It was a memorable (memoir-a-ball) night, indeed.

Prom Make-up!

Hi! If you’ve been following me around social media (esp snapchat), then you know I just got my lens repaired! I’m soo happy!! Yaay because HD pictures are back! Hahahahah!

This blog post is about my ball make-up. I am totally new at doing make-up so don’t judge HAHAHA! This is a little experiment slash practice for the upcoming senior’s ball which will be held tomorrow!! I needed some practice so that tomorrow I would finally be looking like a human being for the first time.

Apparently I am also new to modelling HAHAHAHA!! You see that little spot of eye-liner on my hand? Yes, I know I know. Didn’t bother editing that because I’m no photoshop expert okay HAHAHAH!

My classmate who also took the USTet was the one who told me the results were going to be posted on 7:00 PM (which is 12:00 AM in the Philippines). When I arrived home, I waited and waited and waited. I did all things that could distract me and possibly help kill the time. I jogged outside, cooked, watched TV, worked out, took a shower but it’s still not enough? I still have about 20 minutes more to wait. I kept refreshing the OFAD page until the log-in page appeared, exactly at 7:00 PM (Nice one UST).

My hands were shaking of nervousness and eagerness as I look for the paper where I wrote my applicant number, “This is it. This is it.” As I type the number, then as I type my surname, my heart started beating so fast and I was sweating. “Lord, I know You got me. Always.” I pressed the enter key, a little harder than I should. It said null. I tried again and again and again. Until I got the results that I wanted.

Q U A L I F I E D.

I screamed. I screamed like a dolphin. I fan-girled. I jumped. “THANK YOU LORD!!” I ran to the living room to show my parents. “I PASSED THE USTET!!” and my dad was cheering, “USTe! USTe! USTe!”

I really can’t believe this. Thank you to those people who believed in me. My teachers, my parents, my friends. “Pasado yan!” “Sus ikaw pa!” “Kaya mo yan!” Thank you to those people who have always been supportive since the beginning even before I took the exams and of course, thank You, Lord! Di mo po ako pinabayaan. Maraming salamat po! I love you po so much!! I have been praying for this moment, for this result. And I got what I wanted! Thank You, Lord! I love you!

Life Lately! I haven’t blogged about what’s going on in my mind lately. So here it is!

We finished our 4th Quarter examinations last week (and I liked the results) so now we are completing requirements for the clearance.

Our senior’s ball is in four days!! Excited?? Yes!! FOOOOOD.

USTet results are in two days! I don’t know how to feel about this asdfghjkl I exerted my time and effort and everything reviewing for that entrance exam. I really want to pass.

But sadly, no, I am not going to study in UST because my parents changed their minds. They want me in Davao. I’M STILL ASDKJHFK ABOUT USTET THOUGH. In Davao, I will be studying in Ateneo de Davao University, if ever I pass, (ugh here I am in this stage again- “if ever I pass”) if I don’t, they’ll throw me in Manila which is a good thing (HAHAHA just kidding I don’t think they’ll let me be in Manila though).

I thought I didn’t know anyone from Ateneo de Davao University, but I actually do!! My friend from Abu Dhabi, UAE will also be there and I hope my classmate here in Qatar will also go in AdDU. 

That’s really it for my Life Lately. I don’t have anything else to share?? Hahahaha! Right now I’m about to sleep because I’m hella tired.

Classes are indeed suspended! Heavy rain and lightning storm I guess are pretty big deal in schools in Qatar (and just the middle east in general) HAHAHA! Don’t blame us, we don’t encounter heavy rains often. If it starts to flood, then it’s way too much for us to handle *note sarcasm* HAHAHAHA! Skies are dark and the wind is cold, I hope this lasts long because I love the feeling rain offers.

I arrived at school at 7:00 AM (yes I am your classmate who’s always late DON’T JUDGE), and about 5 minutes later, our adviser told us to “wait for the announcement” I was confused, then she continued, “classes are going to be suspended.” I didn’t know how to feel; I just arrived and you’re telling me there are no classes??? I got soaked wet just for me to go home again??? I stayed up all night to study just for the exams to be delayed??? I called my dad anyway and thank goodness he wasn’t that far from school yet so he was able to turn back and pick us (my brother and I) up.

Unfortunately, PISQians did not want classes to be suspended because today was supposedly our very last day of examinations and we wanted just to chill after. Oh well maybe this is God telling us to study more because we were going to fail HAHAHAH! I hope not. Aral pa more, PISQians! Last day tomorrow!
