âItâs nice to meet you too, Yazoo.â The redhead grinned. âAh, I know itâs not really my place to say anything, and forgive me if Iâm wrong, but if youâre not happy with your current job, it canât hurt to look for something more.. I dunno stable, in the meantime, I guessâ He shrugged. âI mean I just left an old job at Starbucks because it wasnât for me, and now Iâm tattooing full time and Iâm happier than Iâve ever beenâ He smiled.Â
Yazoo shook his head. "No, no, don't get me wrong -- I love my job. I just hate the hours." He shot him a sheepish grin. "Dancing's one of my favorite things in the world, and it's the only time I get to see Noctis, so it's worth something, y'know?" He shook his head. "I'm happy with everything but the hours. .and the outfits." He shivered, mostly from the cold.

Noticing the other was wearing shorts in such cold temperatures made the redhead wonder what this guy did for a living, but he decided not to pry. âAah I donât envy you there. Must suck having to work late an all. But hey, moneyâs money, am I right?â He smiled.Â
âIâm Axel by the way. Uh, sorry, I just felt like I needed to introduce myself..â He laughed a little as he rubbed the back of his neck.
Yazoo shrugged. "Yeah, I mean, the pay's really nice -- I've got a great house because of it, it just isn't worth it to have to be here this late at night, y'know?" He huffed out a sigh, then smiled.
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Axel," he said, dipping his head politely. "I'm Yazoo -- my friends call me Yaz."
âI bet you get a lot, huh?â Roxas chuckled running a hand through his hair. âWell dude, good for you then.â
"Ah, I guess?" He shook his head, reaching up to run his fingers through his long hair. "I get good enough tips, so I guess I'm attractive enough."

His brows furrowed at the otherâs comment and he nodded quickly, âI-I yeahâŚsure.â He hadnât been meaning to hold the other up for so long. It was just that something about Yazoo had struck a chord within Noctis. He wasnât sure what it was but the note was far from sour. It resonated deep within him and brought about feelings he had forgotten he had. Maybe it was just the fact that heâd been seeing him almost every night, or maybe it was all the drugs in his system. But this was different. It had to be.Â
âI wouldnât mind at all actually.â He fixed the collar of his jacket and looked down at his hands. Apparently whatever he had come to the store to get was going to have to wait. He had more important business to take care of.Â
Yazoo shot him an embarrassed grin. "I'd kinda forgotten about them myself, to be honest," he admitted, shaking his head. "But I've got hungry babies at home, y'know?" He flashed him a grin to show they weren't actual babies somehow, then headed towards checkout.
"I, uh, I dunno if you have a car, but I walk home," He explained as he paid for the menagerie of food in front of him. "I don't live too far from here."

Axel was on his way home from a friends, when the stranger collided with him. Bringing his hands out to the otherâs shoulders he helped him up. âHuh, silver hair. Now thatâs not something you see every dayâ He thought to himself.
âNo worries, man. I wasnât watching were I was going myself. You okay?â He asked as his eyes scanned the other male.
The, ahem, exotic dancer wrapped his arms tightly around his body at the cold, flashing him a thankful grin. "I, uhm, yeah, I'm fine," he reassured quickly.
"Just got a long, cold walk to the grocery store and then home." He frowned at the street. "Great. They just have to give me the late shift. ." Idly, he reached down to pull down his shorts with a grimace.
Again, the taunts went over his head. Â He was too god-damned angry to bother biting back.
âChange of heart? Â Stop fuckinâ with me, mommaâs boy!â
"Ah, yes, change of heart -- you'd be surprised what almost dying can do to change a man's mind."
He shot him another filthy grin, uncrossing his arms from his chest. One hand rested on his hip, that hip cocked out to the side as he rested his weight onto one foot.

âOh really? Whatâs your career? If you donât mind me asking.â The surfer asked leaning a bit, interested in the other.
"Ah, I'm an exotic dancer? Stripper, I guess." He shrugged.
2 have found the Incubus
She leaned forward, head cocked to the side as slender fingers grasped the bearâs paw as well. The male spoke truth when he said they were absent of claws, a grin stretching across her lips as she caught the other harmless mammal give Wiley an eskimo kiss.Â
âThatâs terrible. Why would someone do that to them?â Her thumb rubbed a circle in the bearâs fur before she reluctantly unlatched her fingers from Argentum, hand returning to run through her own petâs fur to calm him down.
âThey must love you a lot, donât they? You saved them.â Xion gave a toothless smile as her eyes wandered up to the other. âMine was a stray. I found him wandering the beach with scales in his fur and crabs clinging to his ears.â
Argentum had let out a happy groan at the attention, shaking his head idly at the petting. His brother, Album, had been trying to be affectionate to the dog, but looked like he wasn't successful.
"I dunno. I just kind of found them in a bag on the side of the highway," he explained, shrugging one shoulder. "Horrible, really. I would have given them to wildlife control but -- bears without claws don't last too long, even in captivity." He shook his head.
"Yeah. My girls raised them -- pretty sure that's why the two of them think they're dogs," he laughed, the grin on his lips reaching his eyes easily. "Argentum tries to get on my lap sometimes if I'm on the couch, he really just thinks he's a lap dog."

âI get almost everyday, not bragging. I work as a life guard so I guess its natural to get it every once in awhile.â
"My entire career is kind of based off of being attractive," he admitted a bit sheepishly.

She was still staring wide-eyed at the animal when she felt someone pull her upright, relief washing over her like a wave on the shoreline. âItâs ok - â The raven could barely finish her sentence before the stranger ridded her tights of dust.
And there went her blush, warmth traveling up her cheekbones and curling around her ears. âThank youâŚâ Xion wasnât frightened anymore, but she still couldnât form words very well.Â
Wiley brushed up against her thigh with a whine, pressing his snout against her palm. He clearly didnât like the âbig puppiesâ. âItâs fine. JustâŚdidnât expect someone to be walking a bear so casually.â
"Seriously, they're harmless," he promised her again, shooting her a sheepish smile. "They don't even have claws, see -- Argentum! Up!" The bear sat up on his hind legs obediently as Yazoo grabbed one of his paws, showing it to the girl.
"I found 'em on the side of the road as cubs, some asshole had declawed them, probably thought they'd make good pets." He shrugged, laughing as the other bear tried to touch noses with the Husky.
"Ah, yeah, I don't take them on walks that often -- but they love it, so. ." he grabbed the leashes again, Argentum dropping back to all fours.
