Found something interesting.
I was browsing IMDB as usual when I spotted this old French film poster.
The color scheme of the outfit- red, blue, white. The look on the person's face, the hair...etc looks familiar and reminded me a lot of Nathan.
What's even more interesting is the plot of this movie.
Les Quatre Cents Coups or The 400 Blows is about a young man who turns to a life of crime in order to search for some kind of freedom as he struggles to deal with both his neglectful parents and the oppressive authority figures in his life.
This is the best way I could summarize the film, but that kinda describes Nathan's situation in some way.
I can't tell if I'm overthinking it or if this is all coincidental. Otherwise it would be interesting if this was some kind of influence that crossed Michel Koch's mind I don't think it's completely impossible considering a few months ago someone on twitter asked if the antagonist from Hard Candy inspired Jefferson's character and he answered that it wasn't a direct influence, but it could of been at the back of his mind.
This whole post could be me reaching for the stars, but it's kinda irresistable to think about. .
Anyways do whatever you want with this information, because I don't know what to entirely make of all of this.
