only liking Fat Gum when he's in slim form is basically the opposite of "If you don't love me at my worst, you don't deserve me at my best."

people are only "loving" him at his worst; when he can't absorb hits and protect himself or others. It's a superficial attraction that completely disregards the purpose and mechanism of his Quirk. He's called Fat Gum for a reason.

And he's my favorite Pro Hero. He inspires me with his kindness and determination.

Sorry for the rant, I don't really interact with the fandom because I'm aware there's toxic people in it and I prefer to avoid them. I just enjoy the media.
