*** READ ALL THE WAY TO THE END FOR SPECIAL NOTE! *** Hey guys Sellty here, I have some bad news and some good news about this tumblr. The good news is that Derbytastic shall be raised from the dead and will start posting like the derby bad-assness that it is! That bad news is that I won't be apart of it, it will be moving to facebook only (not by choice) and I'm putting the facebook page in Bonita Reckless's capable hands. We used to work together on Derbytastic until I had a personal meltdown unrelated to her and this page and I cut her out of Derbytastic (sorry about that again Bonita) but we've made up and now she'll be running the page. So why am I out? 2 reasons; 1. I am still in process of divorcing my a-hole manipulative husband and coming to terms with 10 years of domestic violence and putting myself and my kids back together and 2. I'm not that into derby anymore. I LOVE the derby community! Don't get me wrong! But the game itself, how it's played, hows it's rules are, I cannot take seriously. Rules update after rules update it feels like nothing gets fixed, and everyone is strangely ok with that (WHY are you guys ok with rules that are so confusing??). I'm not ruling out derby for life of course but right now I can't bring myself to play a game that's so broken. So yeah, I want to thank you guys for reading, commenting, liking and sharing my posts and sharing the derby love across the internet! I started Derbytastic as a way to share the fun stuff about derby, not just the rules and stats and drama, and I know Bonita is going to do a great job continuing the Derbytastic legacy. I started here on tumblr and then moved to facebook but I always, ALWAYS loved my tumblr followers the best. You guys always gave me the best feedback, you guys came to my aid when I called on you guys to help someone out who messaged me about something I didn't know about, and you sent me the best messages of support. It's like tumblr is this exclusive group of awesome people that most of the world doesn't know about yet! So I want to say thankyou, to YOU. YOU are awesome, I love you just how you are, how you skate, how you do derby, and how you've supported my page for 2 years. YOU are going to be such a kick-ass derby player, I can't wait to see how great you are going to be in a few years!
