We went for a great hike the other day. If you didn't watch the Live Stream of it then you missed a GREAT experience. I'm going to be honest with you guys so read closely or just swipe on Something in my brain snapped the other day and I've never seen things more clearly. You all know about my brand @sinclair.athletics The People's Brand and you may have seen my new account @sinclair.royal.life which I use to help people in the game of money and mental aspects. My point is, I have not been proactive at making sure my brand grow into what i invision. I've been too focused on other aspects in my life believing that these other things would help me and be there for me. When they weren't I snapped into a better way of thinking. I've changed up my training and diet almost completely. I was eating 4000 calories a day and still losing weight. That's a problem. So now my new goal is to be able to gain at 2500 calories and it's taking some time but the training is working. In this photo, I'm catching a ladybug 🐞 but it got me to thinking about the difference between bosses and leaders and which one I felt I was. A boss will be the last one to do something, making others do it. They usually think, "why should I do that when I pay them to work? They can do it." Leaders on the other hand will usually be the first one to do something no matter how dirty it may be. This is because leaders know they are to set the example of what is expected. A boss thinks they are in charge while a leader knows they are not. What happens to the boss when all the employees walk out and quit together? No more boss. The leader will always step forward and help all they can to be there for everyone they are in charge of. These are just a few things to give you perspective of the differences. A HUGE thing in my life that I strive for everyday is health from the inside out. Your ability to improve your mental and physical health is limited by your genetics/background but never let your genes stop you. If you don't have a vision in your mind that is pushing you to look/feel like, you'll never reach it. Even if you spend 5 years striving for that vision, could imagine how far you would've pushed yourself if you didn't have that vision in the first place. Not very far. There's nothing to strive for. That is why it is SO important to have a vision. Forget about genetics, you literally have no idea what your genetics have potential for and you will literally never know your potential because evidence shows that when we push ourselves to the extreme, we actually rewire our DNA. That is proof that we can literally become better everyday of our lives. And generations from now, we will continue that pace due to rewiring our DNA to become better. Something I try to do as much as possible, especially lately, is surround myself with knowledge. All the greatest minds in the world have surround themselves around certain people, mentors, and books. I choose mentors and people most of the time, but lately I've been LOVING books. Too bad there isn't a @barnesandnoble near by that I know about. I've heard about some really great reads there. In the meantime, I go to the local @booksamillion and use @googlebooksoffical to get my books. Sometimes friends or family will give me books to read. Looking at this picture just reminds me how big the world really is. Looking out into the endless ocean horizon is also a reminder but the view is all the same, the big ocean is just the same from one end to the other. When comparing the World to a view like this, you can see the true colors show and just how unique every aspect of life is. Today I met this man that I've never met before. He is my age and is a manager at the job he works at. We got to talking and he asked me a question. He asked, "how did you become so successful in life so fast and so young?" He later asked me if I wanted to be a life coach 😁. After he asked me that question I went ahead and gave him my secrets. For those of you looking for success in your business, giving free value is the best thing in the world. But you shouldn't be forced to do it. You should do it for free because you love to. That's one of my business secrets. But for what I told him, i explained to him how at 18 I moved from my parents house into my own house with no money, making $7.25/hour and managed to pay off my house in 6 months with no loans. I explained to him it wasn't the 9am-5pm $7.25 job that got me there. It was the 6pm-11pm hustle that went on through the rest of the night. How I planted plants and blew leaves for $100. How I worked for companies to help them sell their products for small commissions. How I ate 1 can of chili every 2 days, drank water from a water fountain at work, and took cold showers at the local community center. Did I have to do any of that? No! But I knew that getting that house paid off instead of buying a new car, new phone, computer, etc was the best choice I could make financially. To be successful, it's about the hustle at first, making small goals that will help your big future. After enough goals, a new chapter begins, the smart hustle chapter. That's when you work less and make more money. Most of you reading this would love to know how to make $150 a day every day and with ease. I have the answers your looking for. You just have to listen to what I say and do as I do. Like I've said in the past, I'm not here to tell you what to do, I'm showing you exactly what I do because the proof is in my pudding. I hear people all the time saying they hate pressure of any kind. Talking in front of a crowd, confronting someone, stress from the need to do something, etc. Are you one of those people? Because if you are, let me try to help shift your mindset into enjoying the pressure rather than fear it. First of all, who wants to live in fear?! Js. Also, just from my own experience (and i was born with the gift of looking at pressure as a game of chess) KNOW I wouldn't own 2 cars paid with cash, own a house in another city paid with cash while renting in my current city, work at different gyms and run my own business at the same time as being the best brand rep I can be for my clothing and supplement sponsorships. I also know I wouldn't be doing other side projects including planning for a wedding. That's not even coming close to everything that's happened due to my ability to enjoy pressure, but the best part is that I look forward to more! If you know what I'm talking about then you can relate, but for those that don't know, it's so beautiful to never feel the pressures of life weighing down on you and instead you seek out to have more pressure because you know how rewarding it will be. -HOW TO BE MORE CONFIDENT- I definitely don't think I need to waste character space on explaining why trying to be more confident is important. If you're reading this then you know exactly why. So let's just dive right in: Less than 10% of our language skills comes from the mouth. So we have over 90% of our skills that we probably haven't even considered! First thing you need to do is sit/stand up straight. This shows dominance and pure confidence. When you see someone with good posture you will automatically look at them and feel their presence. This feeling beings lots of confidence to oneself. Practice standing up straight by walking through every single door with your back straight. This method has huge advantages. Secondly, keep your hands OUT of your pockets. Placing your hands in your pockets is a sign up trying to hide and people watching will feel that vibe and immediately feel discomfort. Thirdly, stop fidgeting. Fidgeting shows signs of worrying too much and nervousness. If you're a fidgeter, especially with nervousness, try using more hand gestures, just don't use the same ones over & over. Fourthly, make good eye contact, but without staring. There is a fine-line between confident eyes and crazy eyes. We all know the feelings. To practice, use it on people you are already comfortable around. Fifthly, shake hands firmly and proudly. The idea isn't to show off your gym gains by squeezing the life out of them. Just shake firm and proud with a good 2 shakes. Simple. Lastly, do not cross your arms, legs, or hands (unless you want to show that you are correct in a conflict). This looks as if you are closing off and not letting someone in. This makes others feel uncomfortable and will turn them away. Practice all of these tips and you will for sure look more confident. Once you look the part, you will feel the part, and then you become the part. It's that simple.
