The Female Gaze: Sophia Loren
It's not easy finding photographs of Sophia taken by women, and that really comes down to the time period in which she made her career where men dominated the industry. And that's not to say, there aren't many beautiful images of her taken by men, (there's hardly a bad picture of her, she photographs very well) and after all Sophia also formed life-long friendships with a few of those photographers. But that said, She also worked with some women and the images that came from those collaborations are particularly stunning, here are two of my personal favorites. Top photo was taken by Marisa Rastellini at Sophia's apartment in Rome, bottom portrait was taken by Chiara Samhugo in 1963.

Sophia Loren on "What's My Line?" in 1960.
She was in New York City promoting "Two Women", this was Sophia's second appearance on the show. Her first appearance was in 1958 while filming "That Kind of Woman".
Both times she was guessed by Arlene Francis.
