Stan buys a special shampoo for curly hair for him and Richie so they don’t get frizzy
Sometimes when Richie does his Voices, Stan will join in with a mocking voice but it ends up turning into a long winded roleplay that once ended in tears
Stan loves singing!! Richie will learn songs for him just to play them on the guitar and Stan will jokingly sing along but then will get into it
Tbh usually ends up with them making out
Richie can’t cook BUT he has mastered the art of mac n cheese and is the only thing he will ever serve for dinner if Stan asks him to make a meal
Once the Losers all came over and Richie proudly served them mac n cheese but nothing else, not even desert
They’re both terrible at keeping plants alive, Stan worries that they’re not getting enough water or sunlight so he’s constantly moving them around and Richie binges on watering them so instead they have fake succulents
Richie bought this terrible second hand painting of a bird for their first anniversary that hangs up in their living room but they’re both so sentimentally attached to the painting that they don’t have the heart to throw its ugly canvas(s) away
Beverly tried to get rid of it once but Richie and Stan looked so devasted that she got it framed instead
Richie loves quirky gifts!! There is a scarf he knitted from a beginner’s knitting kit, a cardboard camera he got from the staff Christmas party, crochet sets, balloon animal lamp, you name it!!
You bet Ben’s the one who buys these gifts for Richie
Stan got a whole set for the kitchen so all of their utensils, plates, pots and pans are all matching
There are hair bands piled on the bed posts – Richie uses them the most but when Stan’s hair gets too long before his haircut he’ll steal one if his hair irritates him too much
Stan loves skincare and Richie does it with him, Tuesday and Thursdays are mask nights
One time Mike came by to visit and he arrived early so he walked into Richie and Stan doing Voices with green face masks and nearly took the next available flight home
Stan always carries spare glasses for Richie, he’s got a pair in the car, and a pair in his personal drawer at the office
Richie hates texting??? He always calls Stan or leaves a voice message just telling him to have a good day or just an update on what he’s doing
Stan’s desk is minimalistic because it helps clear his head but you bet your bottom dollar that he keeps the home made collage Richie made for their anniversary on his desk and tells Richie’s face ‘good morning’ when he comes into work
Richie tried not to surprise Stan too much but when Stan doesn’t reply to his calls, he’ll pop in with a hot drink to ease his stress
They love going on drives!! Sometimes they’ll just take a random turn and pop out somewhere and Stan will bird watch while Richie watches him
Richie ends up proposing at one of their places during their drives
Stan cries and drops down on one knee and pulls out a ring too
Their wedding photo replaces the ugly bird painting
Ugly bird painting is in the bedroom instead
Richie loves Sundays because he gets to lie in with his beautiful boy
Stan loves Sundays because he’s an early riser and he can just admire Richie’s peaceful presence and the grounding lull of his breathing
In short, they love each other a lot!!!
