Why does every single official art piece have Nagisa in shorts. Every single other boy will be respectably dressed in suit pants and the guy is in either shorts or those bizarre puffy bloomers.

Hope this is what you’re looking for;

At first Karma doesn’t realise how serious the situation is. He’s used to coming and going as he please due to his parents flight nature, so he’s constantly heading out with no warning. Obviously this causes serious problems for the S/O.

S/O does eventually explain, and Karma spends hours researching attachment issues in kids and adults.

He’s... trying. He goes a little over bored at first and literally stands two feet behind S/O at all times. That began to cause problems when he tried to follow S/O to work.

They discuss healthy methods, with the help of a high end therapist. (Only the best for Karma’s darling)

Karma supports S/O though the low moods, particularly through the panicked guilt tripping- “I know you don’t really love me”, “you’re only doing this because you feel sorry for me.”

Karma is unexpectedly good at comforting at those times, he knows when it’s best to stay silent and when S/O needs verbal support. He’s perfectly ready to sit still for hours while holding S/O in his arms.

The only thing Karma finds difficult is setting his own boundaries. The therapist put high importance in not enabling unhealthy behaviours, but one look at S/Os sad face sends Karma falling over himself to hold them.

They establish little routines. There’s always a little text waiting for S/O during their lunch break. Karma gives S/O his shirts to wear on nights he’s working late.

They get a cat for when Karma can’t be there. He’s a really ugly rescue pet with half his ear ripped off and the weirdest coloured fur you’ve ever seen. His names sprinkles and they would kill for him.

Due to his government job Karma has to occasionally travel for work alone. Together they create a schedule, make playlists and choose a new series for S/O to enjoy so they won’t focus on the isolation.

The first trip is still painful for them both. Many video calls are made. Tears were shed.

Still, over time they learn the best ways to keep S/O feeling safe while still allowing themselves personal boundaries and time alone. They adore each other, complete ride or die, and most of all they want each other to be happy.

At a fortune telling coffe shop where you literally get drinks “as dark as your soul”

Fortune Teller to;

Karma: violent tendencies, abandonment issues, intense friendships and desire to please...half cocoa half cream.

Sugino’s: A friendly guy in general? No major trauma..... Milk. Just straight up milk.

Nagisa: Unfortunate childhood/parents, almost killed a man twice, knocked multiple people unconscious with the power of clapping, seriously considered a career of getting paid to murder people..... Dark Coffee with dark chocolate flakes and a side of engine oil.

Kayano: 85% of the series lying about her identity while fighting agonising pain from tentacles she stole from a top secret laboratory and injected into herself, either doesn’t have parents or somehow convinced them to let her fake her identity, set a field on fire, try’s to murder their teacher with said tentacles, breaks the terrifying principles favorite desk, survives for a year on undiluted revenge plans, straight up goes back to being a normal person the day after getting kissed unconscious......... have a black hole and please never come back.

Karma: I haven’t seen my parents in almost 8 months now, a new record!

Nagisa: Cool! I’m going for a record too, mother’s tried to force me into arson twice this week!

Gakuhsuu: Continuing my record of first place, it’s obvious I’m going to win this. So far today my fathers managed to call me a failure in a record breaking 17 different ways, and he’s brainwashed 30 of my peers!

Literally anyone sane: Does Kunugigoaka not have child services???

Random thought.

One of Hiromi Shiotas defining traits is being very controlling. When her husband left her, did she think of that as losing control? Did she take her anger out on Nagisa? Was she only a little controlling before, and her husband leaving is what sent her into full spiral? Did she ever try to get him back? How far would she go? Any ideas?

I think I might have to write a fic about this.

Slightly darker Nagisa Shiota headcannons.

Nagisa sleeps lightly, always lightly, every noise could warn of his mother coming to drag him from his bed to be punished for anything, real or imagined.

Nagisa who lies more often than he tells the truth, at least the whole truth. Sometimes days go by where everything he says is a mix of the two, just long enough for the bruises to heal.

Because of this, knowing when others are lying, he’s learned all the tells so he can avoid giving himself away.

Nagisa who never asks for seconds because he knows he doesn’t deserve them. Anyway, who would love him if he grew so much he stopped looking like his mothers ideal daughter.

Nagisa pushes people away when they touch him, for years any touch was a threat.

Nagisa who’s almost too eager to learn self defense, dreams of lashing out at those who mocked him.

Nagisa secretly longing to be wild, wilder that Karma. Longing to go completely feral, longing to show them all.

People are shocked when he yells for the first time, though no ones as shocked as him. For years he’s been trained to remain silent.

Nagisa ignores his feelings till they rip out of him in in a cacophony of crying, laughing and screams.

Karmagisa Week 2021

From July 12th to July 18th I am organizing a Karmagisa week!

For those who don’t know this yet, a week like this will have a theme for every day of that week to make some kind of content related to this ship. The themes will be given beforehand so you can work ahead on it. Of course, nothing is mandatory and this is all in good fun, so don’t worry if you don’t want to join 7 days. Joining just one day is as valid as joining all days!

I will post a link to where people can submit ideas for themes for every day, for which I’ll eventually make a poll so everyone has a say in what the themes we will use in the end will be.

Sharing this post would be highly appreciated, so we can get awareness of this event happening, and if you have any questions use the ask function or just DM me.

Nagisa Shiota, the boy who hates his hair, has terrible self esteem and high levels of stress.

trichotillomania: The impulse to pull on ones own hair to the extent of pain or even hair loss. Caused by high levels of stress, hormone imbalances or low self esteem.

So. Nagisa is used to his mother pulling at his hair when he has “done/said something wrong”

One day, alone, he accidentally breaks something. Unconsciously he gives his hair a little tug. Something his mother would do if she were present. A sort of reflex.

The expression “pulling your hair out?” Nagisa feeling stressed while studying and mindlessly playing with his hair. As he becomes frustrated he tugs harder and harder till his hair is wrapped around his hands in knots and it hurts and he just can’t stop.

He’s with his mother, she’s yelling, he’s messed up, he’s useless, he’s selfish, he’s a terrible son and he does what he knows she will do, ripping and tugging until stands are ripped out.

Figuring out this is a problem and trying to stop it. Tying his hair up at all times, using a stress ball, snapping a hair tie on his wrist when he feels the urge.

Still he’ll become upset, and he is unable to control it. Panic coursing through him till it focuses in his head so he pulls and pulls to make it go away.

Sad Nagisa/Hiromi Headcannon

It’s been a bad day so here we go.

Hiromi clearly has rules regarding how Nagisa wears his hair and dresses. What if these go further? What if they change depending on her mood?

Imagine. Hiromi comes back from a bad day at work. She goes to her child’s room, thinks it’s a mess. Focusing on one point, perhaps the bed? Pulling all the covers off and demanding it be remade, properly this time.

Of course Nagsia nods and fixes it, smoothing the blankets flat.

Hiromi returns. The bed is not up to standard, furious she pulls the covers off.

Nagisa try’s again. And again. And again. Each time more and more panic builds as Hiromi resorts to standing over him. Is this what she raised? A child who can’t make a bed? Is he this useless? Seriously? He thinks he can decide what school to attend, what friends to have, how to wear his hair if he can’t even do this? How can someone be this pathetic?

Nagisa breaking down as he try’s over and over to make this perfect. If he can just do this one thing she’ll leave him alone. This time he’ll get it right, this time, this time?

Till eventually she decided he’ll never get it right and just takes the blankets away altogether. He can get them back when he earns them.

Nagisa sits on his bare mattress and try’s to stop shaking. Of course she’s angry, of course she hates him.

Who could ever love someone like Nagisa?

So you know how Nagisa’s skills involve disappearing in crowds? What if that’s accidental? 3-E will be out, at the mall perhaps, wandering around, and great he’s gone again.

Walking around for ages, calling for their lost team mate.

Going to the register to announce a missing child.

The cashiers recognises them.

“Did you lose Nagisa again?”

“Yes we lost Nagisa again.”

He is found after much stress from all party’s involved.

There have been several attempts to prevent this. Nagisa holding someone’s hand at all times. Someone holding onto Nagisa’s shirt at all times. Nagisa wearing 59 bright colours to be easily noticed. A  leash was considered.

Alas nothing works. Nagisa friends are doomed to lose him a minimum of once per day trip.
