24 | STUCK IN THE LOST

~Hammer On~

Oh crap, here we go again.

Another nail we need to pin down,

another problem we need to fix.

It seems like it’s never ending,

one after another after the other.

Though life has overall prepared the same bullshit for us,

we always end up asking ourselves the same questions.

“Will my hammer last all of these?…”

“Is my strength strong enough?..”

“Am I the only one who have nails this big?…”

“When will it end? Will it ever?…”

“Maybe I can… maybe i can't?…”

“Do I only get one kind of hammer?..”

“Is there any other options to do this?…”

etc.. etc.. etc… blah.. blahh… blahhh.. blaaahhhh.

Though I don’t have the answers for these questions,

there is one thing I’m pretty confidently sure of,

we all have nails to knock down, each and every one.

No matter what kind or how crooked they appear to be,

Please be reminded that we are all struggling,

That you we are definitely not alone in this set up.

Please be reminded that struggle, like beauty, is relative.

Please be reminded that the struggle makes the life more meaningful.

Please be reminded that no matter how hard it seems to be,

you we all got this.

~ R E M I N I S C E N T ~

We have a tendency to look back into the darkness despite finding our light.

We tend to reminisce about what brought us here and how we used to be back then.

Maybe it's because we want to remind ourselves what to be grateful for nowadays.

It might be because we still have that lingering pain of our past.

Or just maybe, we feel lost of what to do next now that we are living in the purpose we used to try so hard before.

For whatever reason, we do look back.

I hope that looking back won't make me lock myself in the room of darkness.

I sincerely wish that looking back wouldn't make me lose the light once again.

~ R O P E S & S T O N E S ~

People tend to forget that we don't have to pick every stone being thrown to us,

That you don't have to carry the weight you don't necessarily have to.

People tend to forget that we have our own limits.

Our ropes have limits, and the amount we can carry have limits.

YES, we can always challenge ourselves to grow our potential and surpass expectations.

But there is a difference in knowing if you are growing or breaking,

There is a difference in keeping a stone that's dead weight or worth a gem.

Here is just a reminder to me and the other people,

Who tend to forget that we can choose our own weights in life.

Who tend to forget that we can drop some off and keep those who are worthy.

Cheers to remembering and drinks to the ones who ended up forgetting.

~ A S P R I N G F O R W A R D ~

Most of us wish for a better life than we have, some lucky ones are already contented with what they have.

Those most of us wants to find a way to go to the happy place they're all hoping for in their minds.

Some few finds their way through some miracle, other people risks everything they have to find one.

Some choose the hard honest walk, others thrive to do the easy jump.

The haunting questions are, is it really worth risking everything that you have?

What if you miscalculated your leap? What if you miss?

Would you be ready to fall down to the deepest edge of life?

Would you be able to come back from where you were?

Will there be another chance for you to start over?

If somehow you are able to make it, will it be really the happy place you're looking for?

Will reality be meeting your expectations?

I do hope we find our own answers, do our own actions,

and be rewarded with the life we are all hoping for.

Hopefully, our hoping won't stay with just hoping.

Should I pull the string one by one?

If I do, will I ever straighten out messed up stuff?

If I do, will I get caught again with one of the strings?

If I do, will I be back being tangled all again?

When did I have such a ball of knotted shit?

When will this all be detangled completely?

Let's start all over again.

Maybe the answer would all be different.

People tell you that true happiness can be found within in you.

As long as you figure who you really are, who you truly are,

then you will be able to have the answers of what can make you happy,

of what can make you free, of what can make you feel a sense of relief.

It might not only be me who's still struggling to find it.

Is there a way to find it by taking a closer look?

Maybe a telescope would help?

Where do I find this kind of telescope in life?

Is there even one?

Maybe there isn't..?

What if I didn't let go and things would have been different?

What if I didn't let go and I wouldn't turn out this way?

What if? What if? What if?...

Maybe I shouldn't have let it go..

There are things that I want to let go but couldn't.

There are things that I should let go but wouldn't.

There are things that I can let go but I still didn't.

If only letting go stuff are like losing a hold of a balloon, it probably would have been much easier.

If only...

~ B R O K E N P I E C E S ~

Should I leave it broken? Or should I try fixing it while risking myself to break?

Some will say to throw it in the trash. Some, who believe there is a way to fix it, will try to do so. Some will leave it untouched. Some will decide to keep it.

I am still undecided. I should do the latter until I found my own answer to the question.

The real question is when or where will I ever find the answer.
