Why do you not like DDLG? I love my daddy, itâs just a game anyways I donât actually think Iâm less powerful or whateverrrr
What do you suggest I do about alienation in lesbian spaces? I've been out since high school and the same for college, but in recent months people have constantly questioned my lesbianism. Like "would you date a trans woman?, how can you say no if they're women?, why aren't you open to other genders?". Idk I just feel like people don't recognize that the rise of trans activism has led to homophobia and idk how to bring that up when lesbians are the ones that are somehow against SSA.
âwould you date a trans woman?â
âwhy do you think youâre entitled to ask invasive questions about my personal life?â
âhow can you say no if theyâre women?â
âhomosexuality is same-sex attraction, not same gender identity attractionâ
âwhy arenât you open to other genders?â
âbecause Iâm a lesbianâ
Wait what does aggressively heterosexual even mean?
Same sex attraction is beautiful fuck off with your gender fetish
uhhh yâall are the ones straight up attracted to genitals and nothing more
If this is true why donât lesbians buy fleshlights?
if sexuality isnât defined by the sex of the person then what is it defined by?
Children who claim to be transgender are usually actually homosexuals. Between 80% and 97.5% of transgender children later detransition. - Source
âMultiple longitudinal studies provide evidence that gender-atypical behavior in childhood often leads to a homosexual orientation in adulthood, but only in 2.5% to 20% of cases to a persistent gender identity disorder (3, 6, 22).âÂ
Unethical doctors are transitioning away the Gay aided and abetted by government and trans advocates.
Weaponized femininity is nothing more than glittery capitalism.
Your red lipstick isnât made from the blood of 10,000 men. Your eyeliner isnât sharp enough to puncture the patriarchy. And it sure as hell isnât your fucking warpaint. Those items are wax and pigment (and Lord knows what else) that you paid anywhere between $1 and $50 dollars for that ends up lining the pocket of some white man who doesnât need to do half as much as you do to be seen as acceptable in the business world. And this is coming from someone who wears makeup by the pound.
No oneâs saying you canât like makeup but stop trying to make it more than what it is.
@ God : bad post, op
Imagine if male genitals were treated like female genitals? Like testicles werenât even referred to as testicles and some men didnât even know what they were actually called and the general area was just called âpenisâ.
Imagine if boys were told that their prostate doesnât exist. Imagine if hairy genitals on men were called âbearded snakes.â And they donât know how many different holes they have until adulthood. Imagine.
imagine if men were flocking en mass to get âtesticle tighteningâ surgeries.  imagine if men werenât taught that they could have orgasms.  Imagine if it were considered rude to say âpenisâ even in debates regarding legislature involving medical care about menâs penises.  Imagine penis was a word that was considered too âdirtyâ to be said on television. Imagine if penisâs were depicted only as meat-sticks that fit in vaginas with no other value.  Imagine if teenage boys heard joke after joke about how all dicks smell terrible no matter what
Imagine if people thought the more a penis was used, the smaller and more useless it became.
Imagine if people didnât understand how penises âworkâ and therefore their orgasms didnât matter.
Imagine if having a penis meant you were paid less money.
Imagine if the ideal male genitalia were small and hairless like a prepubescent boyâs, and larger/hairier male genitalia was considered gross and sloppy.
Imagine if unreciprocated cunnilingus were the norm.
Imagine if boys were taught that sex was expected to hurt for them and were told to lie back and think of England, to grin and bear it.
Imagine if male reproductive conditions were under-researched and under-treated. No known cause, no known cure was the default. Reproductive pains considered normal for men, and their reproductive complaints mocked and dismissed.
Imagine that teenage boys were put on hormonal birth control, perhaps because theyâre thought to help these mysterious ailments but with the side effect of making them sexually available to women all the time without risk of pregnancy.
Imagine if male hormonal cycles (high T in the morning, low T at night) were mocked and considered to make men unreliable. If menâs competence and judgment was questioned because of it (âHeâs just mad because itâs that time of the day! Theyâre so testerical in the morningâ or âCan a man really hold office if heâs just going to start crying every time the evening rolls around and his T drops?â, including worse mockery for older men who have lower T in general and might have erectile dysfunction, prostate cancer, or other older male reproductive issues).
Imagine if there was legislation on menâs right to ejaculate without the intent to reproduce because âevery sperm is sacredâ.
Imagine if the few times women could be bothered to make sure men orgasmed, they made it all about them and continued stimulation right through the refractory period because they thought the man could come better than that. Imagine hand jobs with no lube was the most that most women were willing to do for men. Imagine men were mocked for requesting the use of lube. Imagine fellatio lasted only a few seconds and then women would ask, âDid you come?â Imagine if semen were considered the most disgusting bodily fluid, worse than piss or shit or snot, and even the words âspermâ and âsemenâ were met with dramatic disgusted faces and gagging, while women readily and openly talked about period blood, discharge, and female ejaculate. Imagine if squeezing too hard and biting were the norm and men felt that they had to pretend it didnât hurt. Imagine if it was common for women to do this on purpose because they knew it did hurt and thatâs what got them off. Imagine if men were expected to use products that made their genitals irritated in order to have softer skin there, or a different shade/colour, or a different smell. Imagine they were to expected to have intercourse or a rough hand job in spite of this irritation.
You know, for awhile there I was hell-bent on only focusing on the âpositiveâ, feel good parts of feminism. The ones that didnât offend or make anyone feel uncomfortable.
But feminism is ugly, and itâs angry, and it needs to be that way. Women are expected to not offend, and not make anyone (read: men) uncomfortable, and who the fuck ever listens to us?
Any political movement set upon overthrowing the status quoâi.e.: in this case, the heteropatriarchy/male-supremacist hegemony and all of its vestiges of power and privilege, no matter how nuanced or âharmlessââ is going to be invariably assertive, radical, violent, passionate, etc. Revolutions are neither peaceful, pretty, sexy, ~*contoured*~, nor sycophantic and yet no other movement has been asked/demanded to dumb itself down or de-fang itself more than the womenâs liberation movement.
It's nothing new.
TeenVogue still kicking ass and taking names.
ALSO: The Bugis people of Indonesia have five genders, one of which is neither male nor female.
http://www.insideindonesia.org/sulawesis-fifth-gender-2
Youâll find examples of nonbinary and GNC people being accepted all over the ancient and non-western world. Itâs almost like sex and gender are actually spectrums and heteropatriarchy isnât normal.
idk man, iâm reading these and itâs just intersex people, or gay people, or infertile people, or people who donât conform to the gender roles from their culture. straight from the link above âCalalai are anatomical females who take on many of the roles and functions expected of menâ the only thing thatâs progressive about these genders is that gnc ppl arenât ridiculed, and that there is a third way of dressing specific to the 3rd gender , which still is you know a social construct, but better than âthis man canât have kids so heâs not a manâÂ
literally all of these cultures were heteropatriarchies lmfao
Itâs actually been sociologically demonstrated that âthird gendersâ almost exclusively manifest in cultures where sex-role segregation is most prevalent and harshly policed.
Almost like thereâs some other sort of impetus to disidentify. Hmmmm. Wonder what THAT could be.
Also:
âWhatâs instead true is that American Indian nations that had more rigid gender roles and assigned women less power historically felt the need to strip male/female identities from non-conformers, while more egalitarian societies with less gender socialization lack two-spirit people because of, rather than in spite of, their lack of emphasis on sex-assigned gender roles.â https://culturallyboundgender.wordpress.com/2013/03/09/toward-an-end-to-appropriation-of-indigenous-two-spirit-people-in-trans-politics-the-relationship-between-third-gender-roles-and-patriarchy/
They are so desperate to prove that they are V A L I D! Iâm so tired if them latching onto non Western cultures, where some of their bloodline ancestors were settler colonialism project supervisors. And they canât see the irony and the absurdity of it all. All these Aryans running around calling themselves TWO SPIRIT. They appropriate just enough information to fit their narrative. Everthing else, like the true meaning for the culture, that goes against their interpretation gets trashed. SO THIRSTY. Go back to the drawing board. Your answer isnât right.
âActually, I donât consider myself homophobic-â ooOOhhHHhh you donât CONSIDER yourself homophobic well why didnât you just say so, here I am looking at your homophobia but clearly since you donât ~consider~ yourself a homophobe Iâm obviously wrong uwu
canât be a homophobe if you donât identify as one đ©đ identity politics đŻ
The fact that pisses me off that women will sacrifice other women on alter for being a misandrist like i donât see men do that to a single misogynist man
Men always have each otherâs backs. Men will take the side of random dudes they have never even met when their sisters, women friends, or even girlfriends/wives complain about being harassed by that stranger. The man will still take the side of the other man even when he has closer ties to the woman.
Women will also throw other women under the bus in favor of men.
Even when men disagree with each other, they still have a weirdly strong solidarity against women. It stems from the fact that male social culture is very hierarchy oriented, with women almost always being at the bottom.
Women just donât see the world this way. At best they genuinely see men and women as being equal, therefore donât feel the need to stand with and defend women over everything the way men do with each other.
At worst theyâre brainwashed by men into believing in their own inferiority and work to defend men by throwing women under the bus. Itâs pretty sad.
Thatâs why when I see radical feminists who agree with each other about 99% of the time, getting in literally HEATED emotional arguments and threatening to block each other over the most petty insignificant bullshit, I just shake my head. Cause I never see men doing that shit.
TERFs and TWERFs cannot, by definition, be lesbians. Lesbians love women. Transphobes are only attracted to genitals.
Love me some natural pussy.
Slurp slurp
anyway OP has a social construct fetish
Just a lame attempt by op at a reversal bc they donât understand that âmen canât be lesbiansâ is just true whereas âlesbians canât be lesbiansâ is just nonsensical
IMPORTANT: So they had these cards in the womenâs restrooms at this doctorâs office that I was at. Iâm really happy that they put them in there because it makes it easier for a woman to escape an abusive relationship without the abuser expecting anything. It gives me hope when I see things like this.
Oh yes, because women are never abusers.
I never said that they canât/ arenât. Iâm well aware that some women are. I was just trying to talk about a positive thing that I found in a restroom. Donât turn my post into something that itâs not. God fucking damn it, itâs like you canât talk about something positive on this site without someone trying to ruin it or twist the original posters words.
Thank you so much for the positive post, and the VERY true words at the asshole commenting on your post. This is the exact reason why I donât like this website sometimes. Christ.
If you have to qualify Situation A with âbut Situation B happens, too,â do you actually give a shit about Situation B? Or are you looking for ways to derail Situation A?
40% of domestic violence is experienced by men, do you suppose they also put these cards in the menâs restroom?
Wouldnât seeing these cards in the restroom alert abusers that there were probably the same cards in the other gender restroom, possibly making them more violent and cutting off their partner even more from resources that could help them?
This seems ill thought out. Unless, of course, they are only in the womenâs restroom. In which case they are ignoring 40% of domestic violence victims. I wonder why.
getting really tired of this 40% myth and how frequently everyone scrambles to believe it because they want to look reasonable and fair.
http://www.kcsdv.org/learn-more/myths.html:
While some people may believe that there is a higher reported incidence of women experiencing violence by their male partners due to men underreporting when they are victims, the reality is the opposite. In 2008, 72 percent of the intimate partner violence against males and 49 percent of the intimate partner violence against females was reported to police.Catalano, Smith, Snyder, & Rand (2009). Bureau of Justice Statistics Selected Findings: Female Victims of Domestic Violence. U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, NCJ 228356.
http://www.thecitizen.org.au/features/what-about-men-lies-statistics-and-peddling-myths-about-violence-against-women
Researcher Elspeth McInnesâŠÂ  recounts some of her research that showed that when men talked about womenâs violence against men, some cited abuse as not having a hot meal on the table, not having the children bathed before bed, or women spending money on gambling or shopping. At the more severe end of the spectrum, they nominated verbal and emotional violence as abuse. Then, a tiny minority documented physical abuse, and an even smaller minority named sexual abuse.Â
âWomen were talking about being run over, being drugged and raped at knifepoint, having their children dangled over high rise balconies till they did as they were told and of course you get verbal and emotional violence,â says McInnes. âWhen we were talking about physical violence against men, one of the worst examples was that she banged his head with the cupboard door â which isnât good â but the sheer level of fear, harm and terror that women talked about was simply not present in what the menâs data showed.âÂ
http://www.feminist.org/other/dv/dvfact.html#notes
The vast majority of domestic assaults are committed by men. Even when men are victimized, 10% are assaulted by another man. In contrast, only 2% of women who are victimized are assaulted by another woman.2
http://womenandpolicing.com/violencefs.asp
Two studies have found that at least 40% of police officer families experience domestic violence, (1, 2) in contrast to 10% of families in the general population.(3) A third study of older and more experienced officers found a rate of 24% (4), indicating that domestic violence is 2-4 times more common among police families than American families in general.
in conclusion while domestic abuse hotlines in menâs bathrooms would be great too, women are the majority of victims of violent, life-threatening domestic abuse by a lot more than 40%, and men are still the majority of perpetrators of violent, life threatening domestic abuse, even to other men and boys. this is not a remotely equivalent situation.
using abused men and boys to prop up the myth that women abuse men right back nearly as much is toxic, abhorrent nonsense. we need to cut it the fuck out.Â
Thank god somebody debunked the 40% myth.Â
Men: The conversation isnât about me? WELL LEMME FIX THATâŠ
âWhere are the men whose partners are forcing them to have unwanted sex? Where are the men who are fleeing to shelters in fear for their lives? How about the ones who try to get to a phone to call for help, but the women block their way or cut the line? The reason we donât generally see these men is simple: Theyâre rareâŠâŠ.Even if abused men didnât want to come forward, they would have been discovered by nowâŠ..Among my physically abusive clients, nearly one third have been arrested as a result of a call to the police that came from someone other than the abused woman. If there were millions of cowed, trembling men out there the police would be finding them. Abusive men commonly like to play the role of victim, and most men who claim to be âbattered menâ are actually the perpetrators of violence, not the victims.â
-Lundy Bancroft from Why Does He Do That
âMen tend to underestimate their use of violence, while women tend to overestimate their use of violence. Simultaneously men tend to overestimate their partners use of violence while women tend to underestimate their partners violence. Thus men will likely overestimate their victimization, while women tend to underestimate theirs. As evidence of this, men are more likely to call the police, press charges and less likely to drop charges than are women.â
-Michael Kimmel from Male Victims of Domestic Violence
âtransgenderism asks us to embrace difference but they despise difference. they wish to make all women a homogeneous projection of their idea of feminity regardless of personality and want women to deny their own biological reality.â well said
If they donât like it then they can stop proving us right đ
