Wow, so I’ve been totally inactive on this blog recently. But I’ve been getting back into a graphics making mood lately, so I’ll see about getting some new Silent Hill photosets/gifs/etc up soon. As always, any requests are welcome.
Uggghhhh, coming out of a total dissociative episode only to be smacked fully in the face with anxiety and depression. Like, yeah, thanks brain, I really do enjoy this bullshit lol. It’s kinda creepy though, considering I don’t think I can actually remember much from these past couple of weeks.
This is the sign of a true leader. Whilst Theresa May was also visiting the site of yesterday’s Grenfell fire, but she refused to meet any of the survivors. The ‘leader’ of this country spoke only to the emergency services, services that have had their numbers and funding cut massively whilst she was Home Secretary before she was PM.
Our current Prime Minister did not meet the people now homeless with nothing whilst they had to watch their lives go up in flames. Think on that.
Jeremy Corbyn went to the site and you’re damn right that he met with everyone he could. He knew that the people of Grenfell Tower needed to see someone in authority there. They need some guideance and some assurances that someone in government is actually listening to them. He knew he would face anger and tough questions, but he went and he met with the Grenfell victims. And its because he actually cares. Look at his face, those emotions are genuine. This man truly cares, for everyone. If he was still just a Labour back bencher, he would have been there. If he wasn’t even an MP, he would have been there, because he’s a damn good human being.
This man tried to introduce a bill in parliment a few years back that would probably have prevented what happened at Grenfell, but the Tory majority voted AGAINST it. They voted AGAINST a law that would have forced builders, landlords etc to make properties SAFE and FIT FOR HUMAN HABITATION. If you voted Tory, i want you to think about the 72 Tory MP’s (all landlords too) plus the rest who voted AGAINST better and safer living conditions for tenants.
Jeremy Corbyn is the leader this country needs. We don’t deserve him, but right now? We need him. A leader who truly cares and a leader who actually listens.
Theresa May has to go.
