Oh, and here's a heads up: mods will be exposed to anything ranging from immature verbal assaults to terrifyingly grotesque imagery on a daily basis. Mods will also be expected to keep long and odd hours from time to time, (such as during Woot-Offs or during technical difficulties) and file daily reports about, well, stuff. Possibly even regarding the terrifyingly grotesque imagery, if it's bad enough. Think you've got what it takes? HUH?

I just had a very frustrating conversation with my parental figures concerning racism and feminism and it sucks, it’s upsetting, they don’t believe they are privileged or that their actions may be harmful to others and I just get so discounted and agh.

I don't recall touching on any of these points except racism which I readily admitted I had encountered on many past occasions because ignorant people think that just because I am white that I think just like them. I would need to make a separate lengthy post about this to do it justice and I don't think anyone reads my tumblr anyway ...

As far as being "privileged" (which we didn't discuss at all ... ) you would need to define your use of the word. If you want to say my not being shit on as often as some other people are makes me "privileged" I couldn't argue, but I am not privileged in the traditional sense of the word.

I am privileged to be an American, but I don't think that is what you are trying to imply.
