Here We Go Again || Kezao || Chapter 1 Reaction
((TW: Implied Panic Attack))
In, out, went Kezao’s breath. Up, down, went his chest. The reserve course student hadn’t reacted pleasantly to the announcement of lockdown in the first place, and now she was here. Bizarrely enough, anger of all things was showing on the normally nervous and timid adolescent’s face, and his teeth were tightly gritted.
"W who gave you the right? W w who told you that you could just come in here and… and…"
A deep inhale followed his initial shout, and he clenched his fists, attempting to get his breathing under control before he continued. His tone was unlike anything that had come from him before, despite his ever-present stutter.
"And drag her name through the mud like that! I i know she didn’t. She couldn’t have done something like that. No, I blame y you!"
"She"? What was he going on about now? Well, one could make an educated guess, but unless one knew exactly who Kezao was, trying to decipher his anger was like trying to put a jigsaw puzzle if one didn’t know what the finished image looks like. And jumbles of puzzle pieces kept on coming out of his mouth, before they stopped altogether and he simply stood there, inhaling and exhaling like an angry rhino.
However, as he continued staring at the events unfolding before him, his eyes widened and pupils dilated, before he backed against the wall, placing a hand against his chest. Well, it couldn’t get much worse than this, so Kezao simply consigned himself to listening to the rest of the speech…
Nails raked against the back of his woolen suit as those words cut through the air.
Kill 2 times without being found out, and you can leave.
Kill 2 times without being found out, and you can leave.
On and on and on they went, echoing inside his mind and out his ears and bouncing around and clouding his thoughts and no, he couldn’t deal with this, no.
The tall individual’s breathing became labored and shuddery again, and he shrunk against the wall, tears welling up in his eyes as he simply willed for it to be over.
And then, at last it was, and he simply walked over to a couch, sitting down and crossing his hands over his chest and heaving a sigh.
