Dog or Cat : Neither, I'm allergic, so Birds and other exotics. If i had to choose it'd be dogs, however i love both.

I used to have Madagascar Hissing Roaches and Millipedes!

Ash the funniest, tamest cockatiel of all time who's passing deeply traumatised me because of how poorly the vet handled it and how painful it was. She was the sweetest, funniest, most expressive bird ever, she loved the colour orange and always wanted to eat my food, she would spin around intensely because that's a trick she thought would give her attention and food, she was extremely loud and you could hear her when you were nearing my front door, she loved to sit on you and preen your hair or glasses. Passed away 26/12/2022

Paco the gentleman budgie, lost his mate in his previous home, so I adopted him to prevent loneliness and have a flock, he became mate to Chippy very fast and loved them preening together. He easily merged into the flock and was gentle to all the other birds regardless of their behaviour. He was my therapists bird and since he was with the other bird for his entire life, we discussed for me to adopt him if the sick mate would eventually die so he wouldn't be all alone because she was very sick. He was a beautiful green colour with a deep blue cere. Passed away 03/08/2025

Pepper the sweetheart budgie, chatty and playful, always making noises and talking to me, he was always happy to see me. He easily stepped up and was the best at recall out of all my birds albeit he sometimes would br mischievous by purposely acting like he would come then not doing it, pulling a U-turn. He had stunning colours which he inherited from his parents who were show budgies. He also was the biological older brother to Zila and they surprisingly rarely had problems together despite his sister's aggression problem, they even tried to mate together one time and I quickly put a stop to that lol i screamed "THAT'S YOUR SISTER NOOO" and ran to get them separated, surprisingly it never happened afterwards. He was a really fast flyer and loved to forage. He was my favourite budgie because of his excited and tolerant temperament. Passed away 28/10/2025

Zila the special needs budgie who was unsocialised, when trying to make friends she would behave too aggressively and always became the outcast, then managed to finally make a friend(Trudy) for a couple of months after her brother Pepper died before she passed away, I am so proud of her for managing that. Cosmo and Zila always fought a bit and I believe she fatally attacked Zila while I was sleeping, I found her body was very injured and Cosmo while not dead was mildly injured as well, unfortunately. Zila had many brushes with death and for it to actually have happened is strange, since she almost felt immortal in a way. Passed away 22/01/2026

The ones that don't experience medical violence then, likely experience it as a teenager.

I didn't.

I am very rare in that I did not experience medical violence.

Why? Because I learned what intersexuality was as a young age, and I actively fought against what doctors wanted to do to me. All the way down to legal research on what medical care minors can be forced into. I remember walking into that doctor's appointment with the state law written down that proved that if I did not consent they could not do surgery.

That is why intersex activism is important. It saved me and it will save more.

NOTICE FOR PSYCHOTIC PEOPLES LIKE ME AND THE NEW TOMODACHI LIFE: Please please pretty pretty please be careful while playing Living the Dream, esp if you’re currently unmedicated!!!

The game treats the Miis like they’re real people and makes zero mention ever that they are not, and only ever refers to them and their POV as if they are real and you are their caretaker! While playing this honestly messed with my head pretty badly at times and made me worry a lot on if I was hurting real people/not doing enough for real people while I was playing!

I cannot imagine how much worse this would be for someone who’s unmedicated, non-dormant, or experiencing breakthrough symptoms! Do please be careful and PLEASE remember to have a way to reality check yourself while playing the game!!!

Also: If you’re not psychotic, please reblog this anyway!!! It may not seem like a big deal to you but these kinds of things are REALLY important to know for us psychotic folk in a world that is both hostile and negligent to us and our needs!!!

besides the obvious (disability rep, color slider thing for skin and hair, making them a tiny bit smarter so they stop showering in their clothes, etc), here are more things i think they should add to tdl

polyamory (listen the relationships in this game are already insane and this would just make it funnier + better)

a temperament spectrum in the personality thing that lets you make them evil/mean

more ways to torment miis besides just leaving them alone and hungry (sisyphean tasks, dropping them in the ocean, putting them in debt, etc)

food allergies that you have to find out about through trial and error

the option to give a mii no clothes and have them go around naked but they get in trouble with their peers for it

heterochromia (seriously why wasnt this just in the base game)

more ways for them to act when in a romantic relationship besides just lovey dovey (evil, loving but shy, etc)

more pronouns

along the same lines as "i've been thinking about changing my hairstyle", add a "i've been thinking about transitioning" event. having it occur once doesn't limit it from occurring again and they can go back to their previous gender. would add some really fun options for genderfluidity i think

also make the hairstyle thing take effect faster. seriously ive been waiting for days.

more quirks, particularly walks and stances that aren't quite so weird as some of the existing ones. when am i ever going to use the "stands while shaking hips" or "walks like a robot" things come on now.

option in face paint to select certain areas as eyes and mouth so that their expressions don't get quite so fucked up (ex: if you drew eyes on, you could select them as eyes and the game would treat them that way)

the ability to cheat while in romantic relationships

patch out amatonormativity (don't make marriage the be all end all of all relationships, let them have kids out of wedlock for goodness sake, etc)

What I feel people frequently forget about autistic special interests is that they aren't always information based. They may simply be visual or mental

Someone may have a special interest in a show, but instead of that meaning that they will talk about that show often, it may mean they watch that show extremely frequently.

Special interests are ways of regulating, not simply encyclopedias we have in our heads. Sometimes it's watching something frequently. Maybe only listening to one genre of music, maybe it's a collection, maybe it's an action. I'm tired of it only being seen as autistic people's personal encyclopedias
