MAJOR UPDATE 5/14/22
heyyyy gamers so here’s my recurring “I’m not dead” post except this time!! we actually have news
so the demo, as you may know, is the entire first day of the game (in practice ~30mins) and as of this update it is fully scripted! The text and programming for choices and such are all in the game! It is, effectively, playable! however the sprites are a bit outdated and several of the characters are going through changes, so there’s still much to do before the demo can be released for y’all.
In other news, in addition to the first day being scripted theres also script for about half of the first route for the full game! not just concepts this time, we have entire real dialogue and full scenes.
smaller notes:
- new backgrounds
- concepting all remaining routes
- working on characters
-making lists of remaining assets for demo
-fixed bug where you were stuck going to anime club forever (again)
-working on lore for sachiko’s favorite anime so she can properly infodump about it
All in all Alfie is the major MVP for this update for writing the script and drawing the backgrounds, so make sure to give them some love <3
