The original name of the british band was āFairy Kingā, cause the founder is Elaineās brother, King.
The other members were: Helbram, Elaine, Gherarde and Rou.
But after King met Diane, a famous model, he felt in love with her and completely loses interest in Ā other things, specially cause he wants to beat his rival in love, Howzer. So he left the band in order to find a way to height the beautiful Diane and think back to his look. He wants to lose a few pounds and decides to rely on a prestigious clinic. So leaves the city.
Helbram, who was secretly in love with King, decides to leave the band too and moves to USA after winning a scholarship.
After a car accident, Rou goes into a coma and Gherarde decides not to play anymore until he woke up.
Elaine remains alone with her dream, but with no one near her side seems really hard. And after the manager,Merlin, offers her a last chance to look for someone in order not to kill forever the band and gain a good contract with a record company, she feels determinated again.
While she is at Escanorās bar āSweet Gluttonyāan impossibly tall guy, with a beautiful hoarse voice breaks into the stage and Elaine remains pleasantly affected by him. Escanor tells her heās Ban and that he asked to sing some songs in the bar in order to earn something to eat.
Ban seems untidy, but Elaine thinks right away he has sweet eyes, and offers to him a meal. They talk a little Ā and after learning that he has no home to return to, she is about to ask him to follow her, but he senses the question and invites himself to her house,without cerimony, like he had read her thoughts.
Elaine lives in a beautiful house and with King ran a greenhouse where they grow rare plants that export all over the world, but now that her brother has left her alone, it is all on her shoulders.
Ban is surprised by Elaine and how empty her life seems despite her wealth, so she thinks they can do each other a favor. She explains everything to him and he in turn tells her how he found himself looking for new accommodation. He tells her that till some day ago he lived with Meliodas, his best friend, but after he got engaged he didnāt want to stay to make the third wheel and decided to leave the apartment.
The two spend a week together, between rehearsals of duets, using texts already written by Elaine and some other matters that Ban willingly helps. Elaine rediscovers what it means to have someone beside her who is not her brother and who supports her in her ideas projects.
During these seven days Ban learns of some very precious seeds kept in a safeplace, along with much of the money from Elaineās family, but he never touched the idea of stealing anything, and promise to Elaine that he will never touch them.
A strong attraction develops between them which culminates in the day they perform in front of Merlin and surprise her by making their voices dance like one.
So, the manager gives them access to a live concert at an exclusive event in a London venue, to which Elaine cannot help but also invite Gherarde in order to share her joy with her friend.
The audience is completely captivated by them. Although they are only two people on the stage, they manage to excite everyone together with their voice and Elaineās skill in playing the electric guitar.
But Gherarde feels envious of the fact that Elaine looks happy despite she still suffers a lot because of Rouās condition and the dissolution of the band; she canāt accept Ban and after the performance she suggests her that the tall and rude guy is totally a bad company for her. Then Elaine goes on a rampage and,saying she doesnāt need anyoneās approval, decides to give the new band a proper name ,āBanlaineā.
Merlin tells them that the record company is intent on getting them the contract, and they seem unstoppable together. They want to start immediately to write new songs.
Meanwhile Meliodas reappears and invite both to a halloween party. During the feast Ban canāt keep it inside and declares what he feels to Elaine. No one had ever been so interested in him and he wants to speak straight to her heart. She feels the same and without hesitation she confesses to love him too.
Everything seems going very well, until one rainy day Ban is late coming home and when is arrived he finds a nasty surprise: a criminal got into the house to steal the money and the seeds, and attacked Elaine with a knife, seriously injuring her. Ban manages to preventing him from escaping with the stolen goods and fights for Elaine, sending the criminal KO and immediately calling for help.
But once at the hospital, Elaine enters the surgical room and Ban cannot see her for 9 interminable hours. He waits sitting in front of that white door and seems to die at the thought of losing her.
When the doctor comes to inform Ban that the operation was successful, he can breath a sigh of relief. They finally can hug each other, and Ban remains all the night with Elaine, never leaving her side.
The day after someone shows on the threshold of the hospital room and his appearance is unrecognizable. The boy with the red tuft and the elegant clothes looks at Ban from head to toe. Elaine canāt believe her eyes to see that her brother is back for her. But King doesnāt seem happy to see that a man is holding his sister like that.
King seems not to accept their union, but Elaine replies confessing that she has finally found happiness with Ban and that he should have understood her feelings, just like she understood him when he leaved for his love. Ban gives King what he was able to take from the thug and says heās ready to prove that he cares about his sister and that he has serious intentions.
Gherarde and Helbram also come to visit Elaine and the two women finally make it up in tears. But what will make Gherarde even happier will be the unexpected awakening of his beloved, Row, a few days later.
Ban and Elaine do not give up their journey that has just begun, and finally after months of work, they become famous, making their love visible to the whole world, on that stage on which they met.
