I don’t think I had any idea who Bruce Jenner was until this year. The reaction from a lot of people whose writing I follow made me realize I follow a whole bunch of people who are actually like ten years older than me.

I’m convinced that more people have been accidentally locked out of their own accounts by Microsoft’s overzealous “suspicious activity” lockouts and been unable to get back in than have actually been protected by it.

The kind of person who actually has their details filled in correctly and remembers what they put down for their security questions and knows how recovery procedures work doesn’t have a huge overlap with people who click on phishing links.
