        && I’m really sorry to all the people who voted for Emma and liked my starter call yesterday… but I just can’t keep her. I mean, I could if I were still doing all 11 characters, but I can’t muster up her muse enough to keep her as one of my main six. That and… I really, really miss Paul. I can’t tell you how disappointed I was that he wasn’t higher up on the list. So anyway, I’m retiring Emma for now. I’ll see you all on my other accounts, and you can expect to see Paul back up and running soon.

She had a point. 

He had plenty of excuses, like being busy with keeping the young ones under control and making sure the eggs were safe in their incubators and forgetting that he actually had a caster. Worst of all, the case was still messing with his brain– he kept misplacing things and forgetting various details that he should know and shrinking away from responsibilities that he’d have otherwise handled with ease.

But she still had a point, and no amount of excuses really made it okay not to tell Emma what her own office was being used for. 

“…I’m sorry,” was all he managed to say quietly.

All she could do was sigh. The man was a mess, forgettin’ to call her, to show up, now to tell her shit. 

But hell, what could she do? She loved him.

Emma ran her fingers through her thick, kinky hair and looked down, temporarily settling into the silence. Well... relatively speaking. The chatter of baby Pokémon seemed to fill the space the two had left hanging between them, and eventually, they got to her. So with a deep breath, she stepped forward.

“A’ight. Whaddo ya need help with.”

"So a guy walks into a bakery. He orders some bread, and the baker asks if he’d like paper or plastic. The man replies “baguette however you’d like.' "

        “Dad,” she whines. “Stop. You are literally making me sick.”

&& So, by a pretty big majority, y’all voted to keep Emma and Delia. And because I can’t convince myself to strike an OC, I’ll be keeping Jamie as a bonus.

Sadly, that means saying goodbye to Ash, Lila, Mewtwo, Miyamoto, and Paul. Gah, some of these really hurt--but it was gonna happen either way. ;w;
