Apparently some people still need to hear this so: using an 'ai checker' is still using ai. If you are feeding someone's fic to one of these checkers, you will still not be sure their fic is ai because they are not 100% accurate, but you can be 100% sure that you are using ai. For fic. Furthermore you are doing the work of an ai scraper for them. You are, personally, feeding the machine. There is no actual excuse for using an ai checker on fanfic as a hobby. YOU are the problem.

Trick or Treating with the kids ( for @aknightreaderr )

Ayoooo I know I'm almost a month late for Halloween, but I wasn't able to draw anything back then, and I was really frustrated I couldn't participate in any inbox Trick or Treating this year ): So I wanted to create something anyway, and this scene wouldn't leave my brain. So here is Father Fives, trick or treating with his four Tauntaun children! Eeeeeeeeeeek <3

This is inspired by @aknightreaderr 's Fives State of Mind AU, which is very dear to me and introduced me to the amazing crack genre. If you haven't read anything from this AU, please do, it's so much fun <3

I reused the kids' designs I created over a year ago, but did some slight readjustments

From left to right, the Tauntaun children are:

Obi-Taun Kenobz. He wanted to dress up as some Seppie general after seeing too many memes on the internet (Echo helped creating the costume)

Bob. He's scared easily, so he just wanted to be comfortable in his Grogu cloak and beanie (he already owned the cloak and beanie of course)

Ahsoka Tauntauno. She saw this dress on a poster in Tauntaunakin's room, and fell in love with it (Kix helped sewing it together); this is the only time Fives let her wear facial makeup

Tauntaunakin. Would only join the trick or treating if Fives let him be some evil Sith lord (don't ask why)

Also THE LIGHTSABERS ARE OBVIOUSLY NOT REAL (for the Maker's sake, they're just children??!)

And then darling Bob, who is such a sweet soul and is going to be very safe behind his big brother Obi-Taun. I'm so glad you thought of his comfort!

Dearest Ahsoka Tauntauno is a vision in red. I'm so glad Papa Fives allowed her to wear a bit of makeup and that you brought in the poster from Tauntaunakin's room (because we all know how much the lad pines after the Senator)

And Tauntaunakin. Perfection. Beautiful. Amazing. Of course Fives let him dress up as a Sith Lord - it's just creative expression! I do hope he chases Tup around the garden for the lols.

I am very pleased that the lightsabers are not real. Fives is such a good father that he would NEVER allow any harm to come to his darlings! But of course, if they ever wanted to see a real life lightsaber, I'm sure there would be hundreds of Jedi Masters willing to show off their lightsaber to the kids (with Plo Koon being the first)!

Thank YOU for creating this brilliant masterpiece. I'm simply blown away not only by your art but with how you've captured the lore and personalities of these characters!

im so sorry that ive been afk but thank you so much to ppl that still tagged me in their things during my absence you have no idea how wonderful it was to come back to that.

Lowk my life has been slightly messy and on top of that ive been doing sm writing for scholarships😭😭 but i have mostly everything done and I can get back to my life!!!

Guys, things have been crazy. 😓

Just a general update, since I’m behind on things. This past week and a half has been insane at work and preparing for upcoming life things, and I think the remainder of this week will be the same and I think I’m sick. So, if I haven’t responded to something yet, I promise I haven’t forgotten you, I’m just behind.

Updates:

- The final chapter of At War is written. I just need time to do some editing and then it will be posted! Sorry, I know right before the finale is the worst time to have a delay. 🥺

- We’re still watching Andor s2 and I’ll be posting my thoughts, we just haven’t had time to watch it recently, but we will get back to it!

- I’m also working slowly through my fic reading list and responding to comments with the tiny pockets of time that I have.

- I also have been meaning to do a 100 follower event for the last couple months where I write some stuff for you guys, but I didn’t want to start it until I knew I had time, so… eventually.

Fanfiction Update!

Note: to anyone new, or who who doesn’t know what half these are, I will be updating my pinned post on my blog soon to include them and more details. I’ll also be putting small descriptions of some of the fics in the notes.

WAS IT ALL A NIGHTMARE:

Chapter two has been awful to write.

The outline for the chapter is done. It’s great, but I’m not happy with the most important scene and I can’t tell if it’s because it’s not supposed to be there, I’m just bad at writing these kinds of scenes, if it’s supposed to be a different pov, or what.

I really need a beta reader or something. Or, I just have to convince myself that it’s not actually that bad.

Anyway, with this being a beast, I haven’t really wanted to write anything else, which leads me to my next update:

THE LOST CITIES:

Because the previous fic has been awful, I haven’t actually made any progress… I want to, I just don’t like working on more than one chapter at a time. So, the next chapter of this fic will probably get written after I get chapter two of WAS IT ALL A NIGHTMARE finished.

THE CHOSEN:

I started writing it, and then I decided I didn’t like how it started out, so this is still in the outlining faze.

I’m also debating on changing the title… the title always reminds me of the Christian TV show, and while I’m sure it’s a good show, I don’t really want to be reminded of it every time I try writing this Ninjago fic about ghosts.

A ONE SIDED RIVALRY:

I got big ideas. No idea how to execute them yet and no idea when I’m going to try. So just stay posted ig.

Aaaand… a I started a new one!

A FAMILY MUCH THE SAME:

This is a Star Wars fic. It was supposed to be a one-shot, but I should’ve known that would never happen cause I’m impatient and have big ideas.

Anyway, about the fic, it’s Star Wars, the pairing is Fivesoka, the plot: Ahsoka is going to see Fives’ family for the first time… boy is she in for a surprise. It’s currently got 2/3 chapters up.

This fic showed me that I’m a lot better at writing fluff than I thought I was, so I’ll probably be doing more fluffy one shots (I say as I look at all of my unpublished works that were SUPPOSED to be one-shots) of different ships in the future.
